I agree with some of the posters on here who say that Bajcetic is a better prospect than Lavia.

But I'm certainly not opposed to signing Lavia as I see Bajcetic as more of a CM that DM.

Would any of the Ed's know if the club's plan is for Bajcetic to play in the 'Fabinho' role for us moving forward? If he is an out and out DM then certainly someone like Llorente would make more sense.

Bah will have to carefully managed this season in regard the lads injury from the last season, with that in mind we do need a DM.

Only question mark I have over Baj is that he seems to lack of bit of pace. In that sense I don’t see him as an upgrade on Fab but other than that great potential.

Kew17, you don't need pace if you're as technically as sound as Baj is. At that point, you just need to know what what's around you, be situationally aware and let the ball do the running. Like Thiago in his pump.

Oli, I only pointed out Baj had injury, nothing re pace, I think the kids going to be a big player in his future.

Glad he is well liked and I hope he gets his chance. Last season his skill set seemed like it may be more effective as one of our B2B style midfielders but I’m sure the coaches get a better look at him in training everyday and hopefully have a plan how to integrate him in.
