Question for Ed001 if you're around.
What's you opinion as to what's happened to Fabinho over the last year?
Some suggest his legs have gone but being 29 years old, he should still be in his peak years. Do you think he's lost his drive a little rather than his legs? Hence why he's heading for the Saudi league.
{Ed001's Note - I just think that he is a victim of the way we went about pre-season and the tactics we used. None of the players were up to speed, all of them lacked proper fitness due to the mistakes in setting up for the season. Then the tactics left him completely exposed.}

Ed01, can I also add that with certain players like Ox and Naby not being fit in previous years or capable of stepping in to give Fab, Hendo or even Milner meant Fab (and Hendo and Milner) had to be called upon to go into that well of resources and kept suiting up even tho they prolly could have done with a rest here and there, surely did not help matters. And that's even before the travails Fab and the whole team had going into last season.

On similar note, I strongly believe Robertson has been over played and has been made to fade.
Even when we had sub (Kostas), Klopp kept on Robertson even when he looked jaded and not upto the mark.
It will not be a surprise to see Roberston recede similar to Fabs very soon.

I read a rather absurd article a while back (that I don’t believe) that analysed the date his first born child was born and directly linked it to his dip in form lol. Some people go to extra lengths to connect dots. I personally think the whole team took a form dip and Fab was no exception. Form is temporary, class is permanent. I’m sure he will find his form again whether with us or his new employers.

Red Sandman, you don't know the half of it or maybe you do. If you check online, you will be shocked with the type of suff our own fans will come up with to justify whater correlation they think is definitely causation.

I lived in Holland at the time Sami played for Willem II and he was really well liked in Holland. At the time I lived there the Dutch had a real dislike of the Germans in general and Sami was brilliant for Finland in a match against Germany. The Finns won 1 - 0 and Sami basically stopped the German’s attack on his own. He was a real folk hero in Holland before he came to Liverpool. Great player.

I do wonder if Nunez will thrive a little over the next few games without Salah. When the team are playing in and around the oppositions box, he’s always looking for Mo and passes when a shot is on. Here’s hoping.

Jari Litmanen for me. Was so excited when we signed him as he looked world class at Barca. Some great compilations of him on YouTube. We never saw the same class in our red shirt.
