Hey Eds,
I'm intrigued to find out what happens with Solanke next year.

Think it's clear we saw the best of him against Brighton and that seemed to be in a different system with players closer to him (4-2-3-1).
He's not a like for like Firmino replacement as the two are different players.

I do like him a lot - he's clever, quick and strong.

Is a loan likely or will he continue to develop with us?

{Ed001's Note - it is most likely he stays. Though the right loan move for him being offered would change that, it is unlikely. It is a bit early to be entirely sure to be honest. If a Prem team comes in for him on loan, then I would expect something to be done.}

I like him a lot too. Was excellent against Brighton. Also, just about everytime he made a sub appearance he managed to fashion a shot on goal. OK they didn't go in but he was very unlucky a few times as he hit the woodwork. He knows where the goal is and out of salah, Firmino, mane and dom solanke, I'd say solanke has the best shot.

I hope he stays, he didn't get many chances last year but I think he will feature a lot more next season.

For a striker, he needs to score more goals.

I hope he stays, I'm expecting him to kick on next season.

I think a loan would be the best option for him.

I think so too PH. That performance against Brighton opened many eyes I think and he finally showed what he was capable of. The whole setup was made for him, I think we'll see it more next season. I'm hoping a loan isn't going to happen but if it does, it could be a good thing for the lad to get regular game time but I'd much prefer to keep him at Liverpool and give him it. Either way, he's very young, his future is looking good.

Agreed Ron but how many games did he start? Not many. Like I say he made the chances and that is encouraging. Next season they will go in. I reckon he will get in double figures.

If it was like ballotelli not been getting chances I'd worry but he has. Remember crouch, he took ages to find the net, once he did he became a surprisingly good striker.

Suppose Loans are always tricky, they either make or break a player!

and you can never be sure.

Think that's harsh Ron considering the game time he has been afforded and every player needs a run of games to find their rhythm.

I think a Brighton, Fulham, Huddersfield would be a great loan move for him.

Only develop playing. I think him and Woodburn should be looking for loans next season.

Even though I would like the loan system to be used, it's been the kiss of death at LFC. Once loaned out, I don't recall a player coming back and playing better. And even if a player has a successful loan (ie., Ward) it's been downhill since coming back to the team.

{Ed002's Note - It is something the club are aware of and are trying to improve. It will take time and eventually they need to build relationships with other sides who could take players.}

As I've said before, you can't judge him from a ew games with a half strength team. It would be difficult for anyone without building up that understanding and we have been poor when we have rested two of the front three which is normally when he played.

If you want a young striker to score more goals then you need to play him more. ? Having said that, I think people need to chill out and stop going overboard on a kid who had his first complete game as a professional. He needs to do more and show more w/ the opportunities he gets. You can't have one w/ o the other. Shoot, Origi scored 22 goals in his 2 years here as a third choice striker and many (not me) still think he is crap. Dom has done NOTHING anywhere close to that yet so let everyone let the kid grow on his own. Just saying.

He won’t grow on the subs bench.

Needs a loan or a transfer.
