Another excellent finish from Brewster last night, this time with his bad foot too. What a loan it's being for the lad, and at this stage I think he should be kept around next season. and i would have him as an option for the bench ahead of Divock all day long. Who knows, keeps dat scoring rate and quality of finishing up and he could even be pushing Bobby for a starting spot.

OP, if he will not be laying as regularly as possible hence, continuing on his current trajectory then I disagree with your post about keeping him around. He needs to be playing regularly and in a team where the manager actually believes in him and his abilities.

Brewster is killing it right now cos he is playing regularly; If he comes back here and not get as much time and experience then, he should stay out on loan and keep improving. His time will come if he keeps improving cos Klopp rates him highly, IMO.

He's now shown he can score goals in the men's game there's 1 question mark left over him can he score goals in the Premier league? So he either needs the chance to thrive like greenwood got and he could take his chance and run with it or he gets a prem loan and it probably goes averagely well and the season after maybe gets a chance with us. I think confidence is such a massive thing for these kids I'd take him back for next season tell him he's the starting striker play Bobby behind him with mo and mane on the wings and give him 5 games to sink or swim he will either do it and explode onto the scene or he won't and he will spend 3 months playing from the bench and then get a PL loan where he gets a longer shot to make something of himself.

If he isn't first choice st Liverpool, which he wouldn't be, then he should stay on loan as long as needed.

Fair enough, but for me if he was to go on loan again it would have to be to a Premier League side. This keep needs to keep being pushed.

I can agree with that, JH.

I dunno, I actually think he'd be a good back up to Bobby. A totally different type of striker, someone who will put the ball in the net if given a chance. Type of forward that could have helped us against arsenal.
