I've been reading the thiago has agreed personal terms with Liverpool but we need to first raise funds to buy him. And nothing will happen until the cl is finished.

We must be highly confident of getting/ having the money for his transfer if we've agreed personal terms though right? It must be a done deal in all but formality. Of course nothing will be announced while the cl is still on but. I think it's done. I think he'll be playing for us next year, bar a big mess up (or injury)

Robbiesline

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have illegally tapped up Thiago and Bayern Munich made it clear 10 days ago that was completely unacceptable - and they need to sell to raise the money. Now his head has been turned and wants to move it seems that Liverpool will not pay the asking price and will try and leverage a cheap move or leave Bayern Munich with a player who is unhappy and return for him in January when a Bosnam move can be arranged for next summer. This would be truly appalling behaviour again. Bayern Munich have spoken with two other interested sides - Manchester City have concerns about the age/price/injury status as others at Liverpool have raised; PSG are waiting to see what happens over another issue.}

1.) 19 Aug 2020 10:37:41
I remember reading some time ago that one of the Bayern directors, when asked about Thiago, basically said, "We expected him to renew, but considering he has chosen not to, we believe he has already made arrangements elsewhere. "
Seems like he was talking about LFC.

2.) 19 Aug 2020 10:47:14
Sad this is becoming a typical way in which the club handles transfers.

3.) 19 Aug 2020 10:50:53
Ed can't we be fined and banned for this repeated behavior?
It doesn't bode well for the club both business and reputation wise.
I don't know why its not checked by FSG.

{Ed002's Note - If complaints are made to The FA or UEFA.}

4.) 19 Aug 2020 11:06:41
This behavior is despicable and needs to stop. I’m not buying the “Klopp is naive, acts in good faith, everybody else does it”. He is a cheat and this must end. And, as a similar but worse event occurred with the 12yr old kid, along with the repeated offenses. it is not just a Klopp issue, but a club issue. Where are the fans’ initiatives, rallying, writing open letters/ articles, whatever?
The world is not binary. It’s not either or. I love Klopp and the owners seems to do a generally good job, so it is not about “someone out”, but “Pretty effing please, stop cheating and treat other clubs with respect they deserve. ” The club did it in regards to celebrating the league win. “You are our fans, we love you, but you are idiots to put people at risk! ” We should demand something similar.

5.) 19 Aug 2020 10:58:01
Will we ever learn from past mistakes, clearly at some point it must hit home that we can not continue making enemies by pissing every other team off.

6.) 19 Aug 2020 11:39:41
Yeah, just needs to stop. I genuinely don't understand why it's so hard for the Liverpool team to contact Bayern asking their permission to talk to the interested player and sort things out. City and Chelsea seem to do this very well and get their transfers done without any hiccups. Maybe this explains why it takes Liverpool and United ages to do anything half the time, they are constantly pecking at players to try and get them on the cheap. It's a shame, if Liverpool had Cities infrastructure, I think they'd dominate for years to come, but this horrible behaviour can't keep going on, all it does it burns bridges with teams in the future and I'm sure will come back to bite Liverpool.

7.) 19 Aug 2020 11:42:58
We should get a transfer ban. Why aren't the other teams not lodging complaints to the authorities. We should be exposed and punished.

{Ed002's Note - Clubs simply want it to stop.}

8.) 19 Aug 2020 12:10:48
Surely though ed, if it doesn't stop the clubs should now go to the authorities. Its beyond a joke.

9.) 19 Aug 2020 12:23:54
Ed002 is proving tapping up difficult? I’m not advocating it as you can see from my previous comments, I don’t see why clubs are not filing the compliant it’s like lfc will never learn until they get there hands slapped.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have had their hands slapped before.}

10.) 19 Aug 2020 12:27:30
This is nothing new in football, yes I don't agree with it but it's happened for years. Only difference now is we have a manager capable of turning players heads. Years ago we made Gerrard do it for us.

11.) 19 Aug 2020 12:43:13
Same rubbish all the time tap up a player then the club he plays for set a price but LFC won’t pay it and leave a unhappy player stranded absolute W#%#%# carry on if u ask me! Pay the money after your tap up or f#%# off and you’ll be reported simple as!

12.) 19 Aug 2020 12:32:20
Firstly agree with everyone about the tapping up, but surely the only way they would find out if it has happened is if either the player or his agent admits it, or the buying club.
Is this something they would do to engineer a move as otherwise it makes no sense.
Again I don't agree with it just wondering why they find out.
Not sure why we can't behave correctly as it's not hard to show someone we want them through their agent!

13.) 19 Aug 2020 13:19:37
This is like groundhog day. this has been discussed again and again and again. I agree it's the wrong way to do business and I want us to sign thiago badly, as I think he offers real quality and something we haven't got but let's draw a line under the tapping up bs. please. It's been done and quite frankly is boring.

14.) 19 Aug 2020 13:30:04
heya ed2 - who is responsible for cleaning up our approach to transfers?

{Ed002's Note - Klopp needs to have his phone taken away from him.}

15.) 19 Aug 2020 13:42:03
I think you are all over thinking this. We have been lauding other signings we have made yet this potential signing we must be band or punished. let's not be naive would you all prefer we dealt with soton in a better way and not have Virgil, it may have been the same for Fabs and Becker but i'm sure you are all happy they are our players right now? All clubs do the same or similar things to gain an advantage. On a personal opinion it doesn't bother me but as always each to their own.

16.) 19 Aug 2020 14:16:10
haha true. but in terms of who ultimately holds accountability of Klopp and Co. is that Michael Edwards? or the new CEO? The club obviously know this is happening and continues to happen. So I am imagining that Klopp is being empowered either directly or via silence, to do what he does. otherwise they'd reprimand him somehow wouldn't they? is that a fair summary?

{Ed002's Note - It would be Mike Gordon.}

17.) 19 Aug 2020 14:35:41
thanks Ed. my sense is that the club are in a position of needing something remarkable to happen in order to change behaviour. I remember JOhn Henry made that comment along the lines of learning that contracts in football didn't mean anything. It was after the Suarez to Arsenal saga. That's not a verbatim quote but I wonder if there has been an attitude permeated throughout the club to contin ue in this way. I think a 1 or 2 year transfer ban or a new world where our transfer activity is so impacted by other clubs not wanting to do business with us, are the only things that may see change. I can't imagine there would be change in our approach out of our own volition without a significant external influence.

18.) 19 Aug 2020 14:52:55
northbeasle - I think you can appreciate the players once they have arrived as well as critique our approach to how we recruited them. Then there are some of us who would accept a sanction if it came.

19.) 19 Aug 2020 15:04:26
Like I said faith. just my opinion.

Lets hope he taps up the next Bobby, Sadio and Mo eh!

Just banter everyone before I get slaughtered! :)

20.) 19 Aug 2020 16:06:20
Maybe teams just need to stand to us they will not deal with us until we clean up our act.

21.) 19 Aug 2020 22:33:18
NB - wasn't criticizing you mate. For me it just comes down to principle and how we want our club operated, or at least how we would like to think our club are operating. I definitely think there is space in this world for massive entities like Liverpool to act with a bit of class.

22.) 19 Aug 2020 22:40:56
Naive to think we’re the only ones doing it, hence why it isn’t being challenged. When it is challenged and found to be only us, I’ll happily concede the point.

23.) 20 Aug 2020 04:19:45
Marshy - we've been sanctioned already.

24.) 20 Aug 2020 08:54:55
Sounds like brilliant business.

25.) 20 Aug 2020 08:55:21
I saw the other day on several Facebook pages, This is Anfield inclusive, that Liverpool were annoyed at the way Jamal Lewis' agent/ representative had behaved. I commented on the post hinting at the fact Liverpool were being rather hypocritical if true given our recent handling of transfers. Citing the numerous illegal tapping up of players such as VVD and Werner. I merely suggested those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones when talking about being respectful.

The abuse i received was astronomical. So it is clear that to some, not all, if we act out of hand and tap up player it is fine. If the likes of Barcelona tap up our players. then that is wrong.

26.) 20 Aug 2020 08:56:32
You guys are spending way too much time in minor details that no one here is familiar with.
In Klopp I trust.

27.) 21 Aug 2020 05:45:03
I agree completely that it's poor actions if we work transfers against the rules. Just curious though what the difference is to how United had agreed everything for Bruno F while yet to agree a deal with sporting. De ligt seemed to spend the summer talking and working deals with any club who wished despite Ajax always stating no club has put forward the offer required. Griezzman seemed to openly have shook hands with Barcelona while atletico were shouting for an offer yet to be made. Courtois seemed like he had everything tied up long before Chelsea could get the fee they demanded. Sir Alex always has stories told by players who said he rang them first to share his interest. Mahrez was after many talks with man city despite Leicester refusing to give the go ahead.

I'm far from in the know regarding any of those transfers but where is the crucial line that we're crossing that others aren't also?

{Ed002's Note - I don't understand why you struggle to understand something that has been explained over and over again. Clubs cannot approach and speak directlty to a player without the permission of the selling club. These posts trying to defend those who cheat are getting embarrassing. We can keep dragging this on as long as you like.}

28.) 21 Aug 2020 12:21:17
cruicially we need to do the simple thing of asking permission. something most of us teach our kids from a very very very early age.

Question for eds (if you have the time) and reds.

This season we were a third tier team in the champions league (I think) which seems weird seeing as we made the final.

When will it be decided what tier Liverpool will be in next season? Will winning or not winning the league make a difference, and what other factors are considered?

Robbiesline

{Ed002's Note - Winning league or CL will be pot 1 - else pot 2 or 3 depending on ranking and who else qualifies.}

1.) 05 Feb 2019 07:30:57
The pot you go in is based on European performance over the last 5 years I believe? But if you win the league or champions league you automatically go in pot 1. We were on the cusp of pot 2/ 3 this year so at a guess I think if we beat Bayern that will probably bump us up into pot 2 but a lot has to do with who qualifies.

02 Feb 2019 17:29:05
No word of a lie, I saw timo werner near wlva rd. In a grey mazzarati. God knows why. Reckon he will be a liverpool player next year.

Robbiesline

1.) 02 Feb 2019 20:40:09
Or Everton?

2.) 02 Feb 2019 20:43:47
Think he was supposed to go to Blackpool.

3.) 03 Feb 2019 10:29:48
Timo was in a grey Walter Mazzarri? Got nothing against it, but I didn’t know Walter had gone grey already. But if he is signing, then it’s good to know he’s enjoying the sights and attractions of Liverpool already. 👍.

4.) 03 Feb 2019 18:50:01
‘God knows why’ 😂😂.

10 Jan 2019 07:40:56
Hi ed02 (or anyone, eds or reds)

Do we still have interest in the young full back from Bristol City?

Robbiesline

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing new.}

1.) 10 Jan 2019 10:13:36
i very much doubt they would sell him mid season! potentially one for the summer but i imagine most big clubs would be looking at him, having a very good season!

2.) 10 Jan 2019 10:18:17
Lloyd Kelly could be a very smart purchase, he’s a big, quick, mobile, a good defender and a good footballer (he dominates players who are a lot older than him) . He can also cover left back comfortably as well as centre back. To my mind he looks like he has the ability to step up, the same way Rob Jones did.

3.) 10 Jan 2019 10:41:52
Id take another rob jones alright!

I was thinking about the gloomy period we reds fans find ourselves in = top of league and cl group. It's the injuries that have got me down and others I reckon.

When vvd got injured we all thought of how it impacted us as fans and as a team. But think about bug v. He's been absolutely instrumental in our to success and we are riding the wave and at the peak of our power Virgil is missing out. And looking how well we've done without him I think we'd be well out in front with him in the team. Miss watching him, he's awesome.

Robbiesline

1.) 30 Nov 2020 14:06:01
Everyone was sky high after the Leicester game and now everyone is down after a draw and a defeat. That’s just the nature of the modern football fan I’m afraid. Every game we don’t win is a disaster. There’s very little understanding of the factors behind a poor performance.

2.) 30 Nov 2020 15:44:38
Of course he is one of the best, if not the best, defenders in the World. But he wasn't exactly having the best of form this season before the injury. I'm saying this to only point out that it's never a given that having a (now injured) player guarantees additional points. It's a game of squads, not just the starting XI, now, and it's clearly apparent in this strangest of seasons.

3.) 30 Nov 2020 17:25:12
Spot on, Robbie and Tbird. The modern day fan gets too caught up in the here and now along with instant gratification esp on social media platforms. This makes them the biggest reactionaries you will ever find and the media plays int that as well.

After the Brighton game, the DM had a headline of “Liverpool’s title hopes dealt a huge blow”. Really? After 10 games? And the reactionaries, doom and groomers, mentally weak fans go ballistic. Sensationalism sell big time and they know it.

Now, The very day after, LFC are level on points with Spurs and suddenly things are not as bad anymore. See what people willingly put themselves thru?

Clearly, people like being in a perpetual state of moodswings. I am not in that camp. I keep an even keel regardless of result cos things can change very quickly in football.

4.) 30 Nov 2020 18:29:36
Not sure what’s actually worse. The moaners or the people moaning about people moaning. Like groundhog day in here 🙄.

5.) 30 Nov 2020 20:42:18
I've already said the moaning is best served in the bedroom, but nobody is listening. 😁.

6.) 30 Nov 2020 20:47:28
I think its the people who are moaning about the people moaning about the moaners, then where are we .

7.) 30 Nov 2020 21:15:36
Haha love that Kop that. Does that mean you were moaning about me moaning about people moaning about moaners.

25 Nov 2020 04:04:40
Have I mentioned? "diodo jota is CLASS6.

Robbiesline

23 Nov 2020 04:05:24
D'you know jota has played in each forward position for us (lf cf and Rf) and he has scored in each position. We finally have someone who can play in any position upfront and do the business.

We must surely have the best group of forwards in the world. Players like origi and taki not getting a look in. These are both players who have performed very well in the champions league.

Robbiesline

{Ed0666's Note - what is going on with you today lad.,.you’re really making sense. I’m absolutely gobsmacked at the way jota has assimilated. In my opinion he’s near enough unplayable in and around the box the way he makes space for himself with those deft one twos etc. I was underwhelmed by his signing and really was taken aback by the fee but I felt the same way when Gini signed and look what happened there.

1.) 23 Nov 2020 09:13:20
ED0666, I was not underwhelmed by his signing at all. His consistency in his performances was the concern for me and that can clearly be worked on and improved. I was chuffed to bits when we signed him and you know the great thing about it? He is only scratching the surface of his potential cos he is still adapting to the way we play and once he has that down to a science, the real fun starts.

{Ed0666's Note - I have to be honest I preferred us to sign Jonathon David who is now at Lille as oppose to Jota. But I wouldn’t swap Jota for anyone right now as he’s in the groove. You’re right about when he adapts to our system he’ll be a major major threat I can’t wait. It was interesting that jota was fluid yesterday as I thought he would play on the left and mane right. They bought Jota as he could play anywhere in the front 3 which he certainly demonstrated last night.

2.) 23 Nov 2020 11:41:49
Get a reputation as an idiot and you can only pleasantly surprise.

Is jota world class? Lol

Cheers ed666, was nice to watch Liverpool winning and playing really well, it's always good to win, but to blow away a rival and go above them - brilliant.

{Ed0666's Note - You probably got the idiot tag for good reason Robbie lol. Keep posting lucidly and engagingly like you are mate and you’ll soon be a rockstar! The only caveat about yesterday was that Leicester were decimated with injuries also which people are overlooking. So we beat a team that was on par with us but that’s not to take anything away from the incredible performance, heart and desire we demonstrated.

17 Nov 2020 20:03:58
Probably difficult to answer, but was wondering what platers that we narrowly missed out on do people most regret not happening?

I heard somewhere that we were after Alan shearer and he was up for joining. I can't help but think he could have made the difference in those years when we had a great team but fell short under utds dominance. We were blessed with great strikers, but shearer was absolutely world class. One of the very best ever to play up front. I think as he's from this country we maybe underrated him or have taken him for granted. Usually the other way round, granted, he tops pretty much every list in pl goalscoring.

Robbiesline

1.) 17 Nov 2020 20:25:18
Ronaldo9, Batistuta, David Villa, Dani Alves, David Silva oh and how can we forget the great CR7. And that’s just off the top of my head.

2.) 17 Nov 2020 20:57:25
Carlton Cole is the one for me.

3.) 17 Nov 2020 21:23:21
I wished we had bought Gazza and Keane but that's another story but remember Simão Sabrosa?

4.) 17 Nov 2020 22:21:28
Villa and Silva situation pops in my mind : (.

5.) 17 Nov 2020 23:32:06
Remember Roy Evans saying he wanted Desailly before he went to Chelsea. Wonder would it have made a difference.

6.) 18 Nov 2020 00:23:52
Stan Collymore, oh wait🤔.

7.) 18 Nov 2020 02:40:19
Mixed kabob plater back at this Turkish place back in 2010. The guy was offering it for free I was too hammered and had my heart set on a donner wrap. I have regretted it ever since, not a day goes by that I don’t think about it!

8.) 18 Nov 2020 04:14:47
David Silva, David Villa, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dani Alves, Giorgio Chiellini. I think with the addition of even one of those players we'd have won the league under Benitez.

9.) 18 Nov 2020 09:21:38
I'm still sore that we let xabi alonso go.

10.) 18 Nov 2020 21:50:52
Going back further Michael Laudrup for me. What a signing he would have been.

11.) 18 Nov 2020 21:51:31
Of the ones I think we could've signed/ were in pole position to sign then Samuel Eto'o, David Silva, David Villa, Dani Alves, Cristiano Ronaldo are the ones that spring to mind, though there is probably more. Rick Parry is legendary so being so useless and for blockading many a world class transfer. Sad really.

12.) 17 Nov 2020 20:24:02
Would love ed1 or triple6 to give a breakdown, but I feel like our biggest miss from those 90s teams was having better stewardship in the boardroom.

{Ed0666's Note - I agree with you and Eds 001 Faith. My biggest regret and our biggest failure in the last 30 years or so wasn’t selling to DIC. As previously referenced Moore’s preferred to line his pockets rather than look to get the right custodians for the club. The Arabs would have put us in a different sphere but there’s no point in shoulda coulda woulda now as we aren’t doing to badly now. For me the most heartbreaking transfer we didn’t complete was David Silva who would have singlehandedly won us premierships followed closely by Dani Alves. Both of these players wanted to come to Liverpool and from my understanding deals were in place. Would DIC refused Rafa the funds for these footballers? I’ll leave you to make you’re own mind up about that.

06 Nov 2020 15:46:44
Roberto Firmino, cwc, sc, cl and pl winner

Here are is pl stats: appearances; 182.
Goals; 58
Assists; 37

Diogo Jota: Championship winner?

Appearances; 72
Goals; 19
Assists; 6.

Robbiesline

1.) 06 Nov 2020 16:12:56
So let’s sell Jota then if he’s only a championship winner 🤦🏻‍♂️.
Whoever Klopp picks I’ll support and back 100%. The only stats that should count today are this seasons when it comes to selection not trophies or goals won in previous seasons.
Or should we start Rush as he scored a couple of goals also and won a few trophies in years gone by.

2.) 06 Nov 2020 16:25:06
What’s your point?

3.) 06 Nov 2020 16:34:52
Mark his point is he is belittling Jota’s record and achievements because people have dared to suggest he might start on Sunday and don’t share the same opinion as him on his favourite player Bobby. For me I don’t personally care who starts on Sunday as long as we don’t lose the game as it’s our biggest game of the season.

4.) 06 Nov 2020 16:42:30
I'm more interested in Jota's Liverpool record.

5.) 06 Nov 2020 16:51:53
What makes more sense is to see who is in better form, in recent times, and then make the decision for starter accordingly. You can't forget, nor disregard, career statistics. I value Bobby's contribution very highly to this LFC team. But if Klopp decides to start with Jota, based on current form, I wouldn't argue either. Somehow, I don't think scoring goals is the only and top priority for Klopp, for that position. There's always been higher pressure, and greater expectation, from Mane and Salah to deliver the goals. Part of the tactical setup.

{Ed025's Note - you have 4 forwards vying for 3 spots ArAy which is a nice problem to have for klopp, bobby has gone off the boil a bit but so has mane in recent games and who,s to say jota wont take sadio,s place?, its his more natural position on the left and it would still leave you with a very strong forward line mate..

6.) 06 Nov 2020 16:59:59
100% spot on Irish.

7.) 06 Nov 2020 17:03:46
I would start Jota but Firmino has a point to prove and he should be chomping at the bit. As you say massive game so whoever plays needs to be bang at it.

8.) 06 Nov 2020 17:12:51
Ed025 the voice of reason!

{Ed025's Note - cheers waqas, perm any 3 from 4 and i dont think the team is any weaker, games are coming thick and fast and all of them will get game time mate, if you add in injuries it may be the case that 4 is not enough... but you are far better off in that department than any other team..

9.) 06 Nov 2020 17:16:38
Why are people belittling one player or the other? They are both Liverpool players, support them both or support another team!

10.) 06 Nov 2020 17:26:35
Djimi troare 1 champions league medal
Cannavaro 0 champions league medals

Stats are meaningless without context

As for bobby and Jota both are good players and we finally have depth up front, can we just enjoy it? Whoever klopp picks we know the opposition won’t be happy and that’s what counts imo.

11.) 06 Nov 2020 18:02:56
Why am I seeing this comparison or whatever between Bobby and Jota? Leave this to the folks on twitter, BBC hys, FB, insta, tinder or whatever there are. Us here are way way better than this.

{Ed025's Note - its only a discussion point haizan, lots of people are locked in the house and this is their only point of contact for some mate, i will discuss most things mate except quantum physics and vegetarianism.. :)

12.) 06 Nov 2020 18:32:04
This is the best scenario we could have and it’s called healthy competition. It’s the a great way to push a player to he’s absolute best. Nothing wrong with it at all. If Jota start we are behind him 100% if he get injured bobby comes in and the same for him. Everyone’s happy 👍🏻.

13.) 06 Nov 2020 18:34:12
As long as Gini starts.

14.) 06 Nov 2020 18:42:35
And here it is. I’ve heard it for 3 years, mindless so called Liverpool fans arguing over who’s better between Mane and Salah. Loving one and slating the other. Now it’s Bobby and Jota. They all play for Liverpool For Ducks sake!

15.) 06 Nov 2020 18:47:45
Ed025, I actually think Firmino will still start. For the important games Klopp has a tendency to go with the tried and proven. Yes Firmino is off form, but then he'll get substituted in the second ha;f if he is ineffective.

{Ed025's Note - im sure klopp knows what his best formation for the city game ArAy and we can all second guess, i think the forward line whichever he picks is the least of his worries mate, the defence and their performance will decide the outcome of this one i think but its only one game, the league will not be won or lost this weekend and there will be a lot of twists and turns yet so i would say just try and enjoy the ride..

16.) 06 Nov 2020 20:08:14
Up the veggies Ed025.

{Ed025's Note - i cant be doing with them barry, every one to their own i suppose but carrots have feelings too mate.. :)

17.) 06 Nov 2020 21:00:43
When I clean and chop my carrots ed025, they tend not to scream and struggle for dear life. You brought up vegetarianism, not me 😄.

{Ed025's Note - we all have our crosses to bear burkey, i shop in aldi so kevin the carrot is very dear to my heart mate.. :)

Albert Einstein was a huge quirk fan. discuss.

We complained when we had no forward cover and now we have it we complain about which one should play. It’s comical it really is.

I was a bit emotional, and now you just make my day. Oh Ed25.

{Ed025's Note - glad to hear it haizan mate..

Silly point that. Jota was 19 or 20 years old when he was playing in the championship so those numbers are very impressive. He's been a couple of years in the premier league in his early 20s so still just a prospect. When salah mane firmino Henderson VVD wijnaldum Robertson allison etc were aged 20-23 they had not yet been anywhere close to star quality. So stop these baseless comparison that don't mean anything at all.

Robbie, those stats mean absolutely nothing as they lack context completely. We have four outstanding forwards to choose from. Can we not just b happy about this instead of engaging in this charade?

Salah isn't getting a Hollywood move based on last night's performance. He's brilliant, don't get me wrong, but Madrid, Barcelona or juve won't take him imo.

The ox has definitely given klopp something to think about. It was only genk though. I'd bring him on at 60 minutes. Open the tired defence.

Dembeles unvieling said it all i think. The kid couldn't even do one keep up when they announced him. He looked like the kid in the playground who couldn't kick a ball. i've rarely seen a pro footballer (even semi pro) who couldn't dazzle me with keep ups and tricks. I don't doubt dembele could. But he has so much pressure on him and was sold too soon. A kid thrown into the snakepit that is the Barcelona dressing room.

They, and he, would've been better off had they not signed him. There is a message there if you have the wit to see it.

I believe him when he says that. He was a red for years. We developed him into one of the best players in the world. It has been said that he regrets leaving Liverpool and i believe that too.

It won't be the only motivation behind him snubbing utd, much more likely is the state that utd are in right now. But i believe that liverpool are part of the reason.

Dodgy theory: coutinio, through his agent, generates interest in a utd move. Snubs them at the last minute because he still has love for liverpool. Paving the way for pipco's return.

The slight drop in form coincides perfectly with Jordan Henderson niggles. He's so important. With him back I see us going unbeaten for a while. I don't think we'll win the league by 20 points, but I don't see why we can't go 10 points clear by February.

K only said you jk23 as you were talking sense and I know you can take it. 1jj was the guy who made ghe ridiculous comment. Liverpool are wasteful in front of goal? Mate, if we tucked on everything we'd have so the league already and next year's league too!

How do we go from the best front 3 on the planet to a team that struggles to score? "despite adding Diogo jota.

He did well. Think of all these players getting proper game time. People like r williams kelleher was probably above Williams in the coaches eyes and probably more thought of than Philips, and coz of his position he's not getting a look in. We've been hearing good things about the young keeper and om glad he played.

I don't really think it was a lack of confidence in Adrian, more confidence in kelleher. If other players he's come up with are getting games, then why not him? Seemz coaches belief was justified.

Erm. Im dumbfounded. I do believe we have the best collection of forwards anywhere.

Mane IS a great finisher. Salah is absolutely world class. His finishing is one of his weakest attributes so the poor lad has only scored 100 goals in 3 1/ 2 seasons.

And Bobby. The guy who can score champions league killer goals (without looking) God how we've struggled with him at cf!

Origi = the forgotten hero. Is an outstanding finisher.

And jota, I fear we've made a mistake signing him. We played him in Europe and guess what he didn't score. And there was me thinking we'd paid neymar type money for a lad to score on every game. Sub or not.

Mate, I try not to be rude on this site (jk23 you blue anchor! [love you mate]) "but what drivle. We are not a counter attacking team. But we do so as good as anyone on this third rock from the golden ball. Weare champions. And guess what. Yhe boys know where the net is.

Then theres

Ox
Mili
Gini
Taki
Hendo and
Trent. All know where the goal is, not to mention fabhino.
