Just my view on potential fabinho deal;

I have seen a few social media posts around this morning (I know social media, why do I bother) with mixed views on the fabinho deal of to Saudi. When we bought fab in for around 45m ish we landed ourselves a proper midfielder and he was in the conversation for best holding midfielder around after a year or 2. He was a enormous part of what we have achieved under Klopp and his "lighthouse" nickname wasn't wasted on him. Quality player and seemed a good lad off pitch aswel. Fast forward to the 22/ 23 season and like many other lfc players had a very below par season, many saying his legs had gone (again could all be nonsense as many looked like this) I was hoping to see the fab of old back next season and lfc of old even.
The Saudi money has changed a lot this summer, I couldn't imagine a summer when someone would have offered us 40m for a fabinho based off last season, unfortunately for me it's a gamble I think lfc should take by selling him on. He may not regain his form, the Saudi money may not be here next summer. Klopp has been accused of not being ruthless enough in knowing when to move players on, this is a good deal I feel as by sounds of it he was kind of looking at replacing/ fazeing fab out during this season anyway. I wish him all the best and this not slating fab in anyway as he was instrumental to lfc success since he been here but we got to smell a good time to sell and this smells sweet to me.

I don’t have the exact numbers but the amount of minutes Fabinho has played in his career is insane. I think Fulhams Paulinha, a player of roughly the same age, had played half as many. Even Casemiro had played around 30-40% less. It’s no surprise his legs have gone earlier than expected. We have seen the best of him and the offer is too good to turn down.

There no way we could know if his legs have gone as you say and his form season wasn't the only one (personally vvd was as alarming for me) but when a 40m offer as reported offered then its time to consider I think. This all pointless tho if we don't go get a suitable replacement for him now, lavia may be real deal but when I seen he hasn't played over 20 prem games that scares me to replace him with him. One of my worries with Fab going is the market seems dry for a ready made quality replacement for him.

What's all this legs gone piffle. He had a poor season granted, but not his lone there. As the eds have alluded this is likely due to the poor pre season last year.
The 40 mill goes on the books as pure profit too I believe. Ideally I think klopp would have liked to keep him but I don't think he's the type to stand in the way if the player wants a new chalkenge.

It’s a good deal all round we can’t afford sentimentality.

Firstly - the narrative that fabinho (or any of our midfielders) have lost their legs is based on a really bad understanding of how we play

Secondly - if the reported price is accurate, then you take rhat every day of the week twice on Sunday.
