Take a bow Caoimhin Kelleher.

Two fantastic games this week, some absolutely brilliant saves. How lucky are we to have such a classy backup keeper.

Was thinking the same earlier mate. Crazy because he's always going to be compared to the best in the world (Alisson) but my god he steps up when needed, keep him at all costs. The lads really good for us, number two's don't get enough recognition and this lad deserves it. Imagine being him at the moment, knowing full well you have to step up, the pressure is immense yet he's doing it and doing it well, fair play to the lad. Two clean sheets in a week, well done Kelleher!

There was no chance of McCoist giving him the man of the match award, none.

Great shout Ron.

Kelleher is so composed in big situations. It must help training with Ali but credit also to the goalkeeping coaches.

And I’ve always thought he’s better than Ali with the ball at his feet, less heart in mouth moments.

Let’s face it, Ali plays the big games if fit but there’s still a rewarding career to be had as LFCs No2. No idea of his contract situation but I’d be happy to see him stick around.

@Pompey I think I read somewhere a while back that CK started out as a reasonable standard outfield player. Might account, at least in part, for the comfort on the ball.

Why are the "Sell Kelleher for 10 Million Brigade" so quiet? ?.

Kelleher is a better keeper than half the Premier Leagues no.1s.

Who knows where Kellehers career ends up. But I do know that the chat around him following that Fulham game was ridiculous.

Kellerher is playing well cos he knows he is going to play (which helps his preparation) and of course and like every player out there, he is in a rhythm and has a very good relationship with his defenders.

I could never understood the unnecessary criticism he gets when he comes out of the cold to start after months on the bench, plays a bit erratically and suddenly people are shocked. If you don't think he (or anyone) will struggle in those circumstances then, that's not on Kellerher.
