An Italian Journalist has suggested a â‚¬15m has been submitted to Udinese for Zielinski, now i appreciate he has been covered extensively over recent weeks, so are you aware of any change in the situation recently eds?

I don't want to sound dumb (I know I generally do lol) but what constitutes tapping up? If say Klopp just had LFC representatives ask Zielinski or his representatives if he would be open to a move, would that count as tapping up? Would you need his clubs permission to take these small steps? I can understand Udinese getting upset if we were discussing terms and contract details without their permission but just seeing if a guy was open to a move before going any further is just common sense in my opinion. Have LFC actually gone further than this?

Didn't Zielinski come out himself and say that he in fact had embellished some of the details anyway?

{Ed002's Note - The player has said he was approached directly by Klopp and that the two of them have spoken - but when all of the fuss started, he retracted that and said that Liverpool approached Empoli and not him - which is rather bizarre as he is only on loan at Empoli and they would need to approach Udinese.}
