Pleased to announce that my partner brought a new Liverpool fan into the world this morning after 29 hours of gruelling labour! He is our first child, and both of our parents first grandchild! So he is the start of a next generation of Liverpool fans ;)

Thank you everyone for the kind words. He is in intensive care, wired up, but stable. There have been a few complications for mother and child since my OP. They should both be home for New years Eve though.

Adam, I have 2 boys. They are life changers. Soak up every minute cause before you know it, they grow quickly. and I can't tell you how awesome it was as I was screaming and jumping with joy when Mane scored against Everton, and my boys run in screaming Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool. now to work on their Steelers chant. Congrats buddy.

Congratulations Adam, fingers crossed everything runs smoothly and your missus and the little 'un get home quickly.

Having kids is the toughest and most rewarding undertaking of your life. they'll have you tearing your hair out one minute and laughing in hysterics the next. It's a wild ride, but one I can't imagine not getting on board now.

My 4 year old supports "liverpools" any time i'm watching them, but my 2 year old isn't quite there yet. she'll get there though.
