Early season does throw up some strange results like this until everyone hits their straps. Let's not forget the circumstances of the game either. We were getting behind them time and time again. The sending off was because we got in behind for the umpteenth time. They scored from their first meaningful attack. After the sending off it was a non event.

That's the first time we've lost to a top six side in well over a year.

Would never have been five nil if mane wasn't sent off.

Liverpool defencive department ain't that good. Including gk. A complete over haul is needed back there imo. Keep the two youngsters and Robertson, perhaps matip as back up cb. New gk, two new cbs and a new RB. We have enough going forward and with kieta already done we can spend next summer re thinking things back there hopefully.
