I know it's a game of opinions and emotions are high due to his leaving announcement but I'm surprised how many people have said Bobby is their favourite player of the Klopp era.

Has anyone noticed what this Salah fella has done? Amazing goals, skills and work rate. Ok he doesn't have the no look pass or smile but come on.

Love Bobby but Salah has been on a different level.

Salah has been phenomenal but Bobby has still been my favorite player in the Klopp era. Build a bridge and get over it.

As you say 1jj, it's about personal opinions. Apart from his obvious brilliance, what Salah has also done is constantly flirt with a move away. I love him, and he is the best attacker we have seen since Sir Kenny, but I will always love Bobby more.

Well that’s the great thing about opinions aye. I think Bobby has a different kind of connection than Mo that has endeared him to the fan base. Also on here we never heard about Bobby getting his agent to try and get him a move to Spain after one season.

Bobby never seems to be an issue, always has a smile, and he plays the Liverpool way. Mo to me just doesn’t have that kind of connection.

If it was purely down to goals then of course Salah wins hands down, no contest. I guess posters look beyond just that tho. The way Bobby plays, the no look goals, even his demeanour on the pitch etc. Both great players mind ?.

Without the work rate, intelligence, movement, unselfishness of Bobby Salah doesn’t score half as many goals. It’s a team game, Salah and Bobby have both been great, maybe some fans just prefer Bobby’s contributions to team over Salah? Plus Salah did try and engineer a move to Madrid at one point which does alter fans perceptions.

Will Bobby have similar issues getting a work permit in countries that we mentioned Naby will have?

Only asking because it would be very weird seeing him sign for another team in the PL and play against us.

Favourite doesn’t mean best necessarily, Bobby’s work rate, selflessness and flair make him one of my all time favourites. Plays with a dazzling smile all the time, he will be missed!

My favourite of the Klopp era is Salah too mate. 20+ goals 6 years in a row is incredible. He's only missed 3 games through injury in that time as well. People say he is in decline but he's only 3 goals off the tally of 23 from the year we won the league. With 15 games to go I think he'll go close to 30 yet again. The teams been poor this season but Salah is delivering as always.

He's absolutely incredible. Suarez and Gerrard are the only players this century who were anywhere near him individually for Liverpool. We are witnessing greatness. He's not a perfect player but you can't question the credentials of a player with 176 goals and 72 assists in 290 games, and be taken seriously.

I would add though, that people saying Bobby is their favourite doesn't necessarily mean they think he was the best player. My favourite of the Rafa era was Torres, but Gerrard was definitely the better player.

Bobby is my favourite of the Klopp era not the best. That's Mane.

Always amazes me on here how Salah, the best right winger in the world since he joined us 6 years ago has"flirted"with a move since he got here and yet none of the superclubs wanted him? ?Amazes me, i love Bobby but Salah on a different level for me. The Players of the year and Golden boots kinda cement it.

Favourite doesn’t mean best. My favourite player ever is Robbie Fowler. Gerrard and Dalglish were streets ahead of him.

Aren’t Naby’s WP issues due to a criminal record? Does Bobby have a criminal record?
If not, my money would be on Italy.

It's Mane for me - warrior attitude no backward stpe, great pressing from the front, scored goals, assisted where it was right to pass, pulled up Salah for being a hogger and did it with a smile on his face.

Henderson was my favourite of the klopp era, then bobby. Salah wouldn't be in my top 3. Mane 3rd.

Surely barnes has to be a lot of people favourites? I scored so many goals pretending to be him in my youth! maybe I should pretend to be him now- we could do we getting a few more goals.

If we are going back a bit, Steve Nicol for me.

In terms of player importance for me Bobby doesn’t get near my top 5 of the Klopp era. Mane my favourite, as stated above the guy was a true warrior and contributed in our biggest games.

If you asked me to name Bobby’s top 5 moments of his Liverpool career I couldn’t do it. The Roma game at Anfield, then the Man City CL game where he kept tackling KDB, maybe in 2 games v City he was top. The rest of the critical matches Bobby in the main didn’t turn up. Love the song though.

Barnes definitely in my top 5 too JB, along with Stevie, Mo and God! can't pick the other one outa all the great players?. At a push, and purely for what he did ON the pitch it would probably be Suarez.

thekoparmy Suarez was way better than salah.

Robbo has been my favourite player ?‍♂️

Doesn’t mean I don’t recognise that Mo Salah has been phenomenal in that time and probably one of the best players in the world for the last 4 years.

MK - Salah is an amazing enigma for me. That scoring record is amazing but for me is way down the list of impactful players that can change a game compared to other goal scoring freaks like suarez, stevie, torres etc.
what's your thoughts on that?

Goals change games.2nd best goals to games record in the clubs history! Really think people will only realise what we've had in Salah when he eventually moves on like Sadio and Bobby. Takes the righthand spot in an alltime Premier league side for me.

Without Bobby, Salah is not this good. Source? Sakah, himself said so. Bobby is my fave, as well. Mane runs a close second.

Its not goals or assists that make a player a favourite. a lot of the time it's work rate, attitude, timing of goals (importance) flair and personality. Bobby has all of this in abundance. You can tell he loves the club, has been respectful in the way he is leaving.

Also completely unselfish.

I prefer dirk kuyt over luis suarez I think we all know who the better player was.

Ali is quite good, nice header for the goal too - the stuff of legends.
