Hendo announced he's leaving before the club have is a bit odd. Not about that today. Let's just enjoy the good times we had with him. Great captain and a very good player. Listen to Klopps word about him when it's announced officially. That will tell you all you need to know. Que the Hendo haters.

It came as quite a shock to me that Hendo announced he was leaving. This was despite me seeing a picture of him 4 hours before training with his new teammates.

Wish him all the best in Saudi. Personally I thought he had at least 1 year left in him at the top but it wasn’t meant to be.

We move on as a club and look forward to the season kicking off in 2 weeks time.

Of course he had a year left at the top in him. The only reason he looked knackered is because he played 100 games + internationals in two years, cos we didn't have anyone good and fit enough to rotate him with for the most part. Something which we solved with Mac Allister and Szoboszlai. He'd have been fine this season.

But alas, he decided he liked money than another year or more at the top with Liverpool. And than the principles he professed to have.

Still, we move onwards and upwards as a club.

I thank him for 12 years of loyal service despite the many obstacles he faced. We became winners on the field once again under his leadership, and that can never be taken away by some of the off-field stuff. Godspeed and good luck in that hot weather. YNWA.

I’m really torn on hendo. I’ve slated him, at times loathed him during the early part of his career and stand here today feeling ashamed I did. The boy has given everything for the club, ran himself into the ground at times, was the ultimate professional, a great captain and got the most out of his ability. Total respect for his 12 year contribution and leadership.

Whilst I don’t like how it has materialised and I’m particular where Henderson is going there is NO doubting the contribution Henderson has made to Liverpool FC over the past 12 years! A true professional and captain on and off the pitch, whilst his contribution on the pitch was on the decline his influence within the squad will be missed I’m sure of it. Good luck to whoever steps into his boots!

Happy Trails, Hendo!

You proved all your doubters wrong and made all their nightmares about you come true.

And you did it with kindness, honor and dignity.

Good luck to you and yours in your future engagements.

Peace and Love!

Great player, great captain but he's walking away from a challenge and leaving through the back door.

Goodbye Hendo! A true professional, a wonderful leader, a very good player, and above all someone who did a LOT of good work off the field. I know this moves puts a lot of his principles into question, but the work he did with NHS and the other stuff he did during C.V. will always be remembered. Even if people believe he did it for PR, all the other players also had a chance to do it for PR too, but not many actually did. In the end, he was among the very few who stepped up.
Thank you Hendo for all the memories!

He’s earned the right to do whatever he chooses at this point. I have no grievance and at that amount, the hundred million would definitely sway me too. I doubt a single complainer in his shoes would do any differently either. That’s by the by.

Cheers Hendo. I’m proud to say I’ve supported him from day one and that support has been repaid admirably. He’s captained us through the most successful period in my lifetime and proved so many doubters wrong, showing what hard work and resilience can achieve. YNWA.

Lots of strong opinions and that’s fair enough. Personally I just don’t care. Nothing against him, but I won’t be shedding any tears either. He’s made his choice, we got a good deal. See you later.

Great captain and great player on the whole. Was never the most skilled but we always performed better when he was on the pitch for the majority of his time here. I think It’s the right time for him and the club to part ways for mutual benefit (at least monetarily) . We will miss his off the field leadership for a few years as I don’t think there’s a ready made leader replacement in the squad. Plenty of experience yes, but an out and out ‘leader’? No-one in the team is jumping out at me. Good luck Hendo!

It does baffle me how much us supporters judge these people based on decisions most would make themselves, nobody owes anybody anything in this world and good luck to those that have the chance to take these opportunities in life regardless of your social status! Life's short make the most of every opportunity that comes along!

Jordan has been an unbelievable player and captain for this club for over a decade and gave everything he ever had on that pitch for us, I will truly miss him and so will our club! Good Luck Jordan Henderson thanks for the memories YNWA.

From Hendo’s perspective it’s maybe better to leave when he still has something to offer rather than being phased out by the club.

Age catches up to every player.

He leaves us with brilliant memories.

A great LFC captain.

Won the lot!

Thanks for wearing the shirt with pride and showing so much fight for our club
Favourite moment was against Barcelona when we needed belief and leadership
and you showed that right from the start
All the best.
