2 weeks till pre-season, still no coaches in place. Good prep for the season ahead.

we need to get rid of a few italians and the left spaniards and a certain welsh guy and that one irish slop with bright teeth, so first we get rid off all the wrong and then fill in the blanks. i seriously think we could do with no first team coach because that is exactly what the irish slop with bright teeth is

Cheap option? Why not bring through the coaches we have? Who says that a ManU Coach would like to be coach at LFC? Who says that Pako would like to play second fiddle?

Just seems to me that if Rodgers is to stay in charge he needs an old experienced head next to in order for it to work? Another young in-experienced coach who also sounds like he has an all out attacking style just sounds a bit odd? Why would you sack Pascoe and Marsh without having any back up plan at all? Surely Getting this close to pre-season we need to be settled new coaches appointed and working on a plan for the season ahead?
Coupled with the Benteke target i'm feeling pretty pessimistic for the season ahead to be honest.

Experience alone is worth little if you don´t have the right ideas.
Gary Monk has no experience as a manager but still he has done well. Without knowing it, I would believe that there´s a plan regarding a asst manager and a coach - I also think one of the eds said that the situation would probably be solved in this week.
As far as I know, LFC has no interest in Benteke, so cheer up.
Other positives: Johnson and Gerrard will no longer be at the club. I will miss Stevie, but for some reason he was guaranteed in the starting 11 despite he has been poor this season.

I just can't understand why Rodgers would want Benteke. Injury prone, hardly prolific and the fee is ridiculous! He only plays well when he got balls lofted up to him or being crossed in, neither of which we do. When Paul Lambert was in charge and play the ball on the ground he didn't score for months. Need to sign an out an out DM and another striker. Kovacic will be a brilliant buy if the rumours are true, going to be hell of a player. Any idea roughly how much money will be available this summer?

Actually, we do cross a lot, and it was the reason teams scored against us, as we just lost the ball all the time. The issue I do have with Benteke is that he is injury prone, and for that price, its not worth it.

Benteke is paper tripe, we just don't have the funds to spend that sort of money on another injury prone striker. Hence we are bargain basement shopping for Ings who will i fear be no better than borini.
We already have origi blocking the youth, why add another if its not going to be a top player who will actually make a difference. Promote yesel and ease in sinclair if that's the case.
It increasingly looks like rodgers is staying and i for one wouldn't countenance giving him another 40 or 50 million to sqander.
