Morning eds first time poster long time lurker, just heard from a mate in Birmingham area that liverpool may look to Nathan Collins of wolves, have you heard anything?

{Ed002's Note - No he is heading elsewhere. I am not aware of Liverpool showing interest.}

I wanted this move to happen too. Very underrated player, premier league experience, still only young, intelligent reader of game, huge potential. I also believe his father and cousin were once on Liverpools books? Would be an interesting and exciting addition to our squad.

Very good player.

I think he looks awful and would rather keep Nat Phillips.

I’ve always thought he looked good. Good at carrying the ball out like Matip so i thought he’d be a good long term replacement but i seen a few wolves fans saying he’s not that good, error prone and they’re not overly bothered if he goes m. Was under a post that linked him away.

He struggled at Wolves this season by all accounts.

Looks good for Ireland, but that's to be caveated by the fact that he played in a back 3 so he has more protection (although we sort of play with a back 3 now) and it's international football. Where the standard is a bit patchy.

The concern would be that when a top manager walked in the door at Wolves mid way through last season, the first player he bombed out the team was Collins. In his place came in Dawson, a 33 year old who was surplus to requirements at a West Ham team fighting relegation.

Wolves massively improved once Collins was replaced with Dawson as well. That tells me Collins might actually be a bit of a liability. Though i agree with OneKiss that his gliding forward is easy on the eye.
