Just finished watching the real Bayern game and I really don’t know who I prefer. I feel like the way Bayern play is more suited to us, there was so much space in behind for Madrid to just counter attack and I feel we’re more of a threat on the counter. Real seem a more pragmatic version of us, which is why I wouldn’t prefer them. That said if we are to meet them In the final I find credence in the fact that we’ll have opportunities in the final third and we’ll most likely be more clinal than Bayern were today. On another day Bayern would have won that game quite comfortably but they aren’t the same Bayern, that’s why I’d prefer to play them. They also got the injuries as well so they are somewhat wounded. Even when you look at the benches, Madrid’s is way stronger and we tire towards the end of games and I can see them taking full advantage of that considering how much experience they have in this competition. Still game on in both semi finals though.

Kman92, we are not in the final yet and neither is Real or Bayern and besides at this level, you play who you play and move on.

Can't believe Real won tonight! Bayern should have been up 3.0 when real scored to make it 1.1 Real were clinical and Bayern very wasteful. My concern with Real is they seem to be getting a lot of luck in champion league. like penalty in added time when they were hammered by juve. And tonight with amount of times they were torn apart and Lewandawski Ribery etc let them off the hook.

Whilst the dodgy decisions are out of everyone's control their luck cannot last forever - we need to ensure we get through vs Roma and then we can start thinking about which team we may face and how we can deal with them. Should we make it to the final we will be there on merit and we will have nothing to fear from any team - no point worrying about opposition at this stage, only thing we need to be thinking about is our performance.
