Ed are we going for Allison or bloody what? It just off then on off then on. Trust you guys more than Google, so what's your opinion/ knowledge?

{Ed002's Note - I have told you repeatedly taht Liverpool has not made any offer for Alisson up to now. How come it doesn't sink in?}

Ed I don’t think anyone believes we’ve bid yet just wanted to know in your opinion do we still hold a interest in him?

{Ed002's Note - Try the Megasharkopod.}

Ed002 where can we find the Sharkopod? I think I missed it being posted.

Thank you for that Ed002.

Liverpool’s round up is around 33mins to 45 mins. Fascinating to hear the players we have looked at, but Eds summation is that we will get 1/ 2 keepers (2 if Ward leaves, 1 if not, Migs likely going to Italy) and an attacking midfielder.

GK most likely Navas (although Ed says this is difficult right now) or Butland. Oblak is almost certainly a no, and Alisson is unlikely/ difficult.

AM, possibly still Fekir, or Draxler is a potential. Or Shaqiri may play that role.

Gini likely to leave.

Thanks again for that Ed002. I’d like Butland and Fekir, I’d love if Alisson’s ‘difficulties’ could be overcome 😀.

Thanks ed. It's just getting stupid. I think where waiting Roma and there asking price out tbh, the closer we get to August 12th the closer we get to English money leaving the table, him then having a half season compared to this and not being able to get close to there dream money for him.

I’d be happy with Butland. I think he’s better suited to the Premier League. Given that Alisson and Oblak are absolute non starter. Plus we know he can handle a cold wet night in the middle of November in Stoke.

Cheers Ed002. Great listen. I just listened to the first 45 minutes whilst I had a relaxing cold bath. I'll listen to the rest later because the Mrs is shouting something about "bread/ milk" and "shops closing soon" through the door. Apologies in advance for the picture of me in the tub.

Cheers for that, Ed, much appreciated. Not sure who was first or even what it was, but there was a definite vocal lick from Surfin Bird by The Trashmen in the intro to Liverpool's roundup there.

As for signings, I think we suffered by not being able to break down defensive teams last year and the Fekir/ Brandt/ Draxler type signing I think would be mainly used when that extra midfielder is not as vital, which turned out to be the majority of the time last time around. It makes sense to me, but I think you're right Ed. There are definitely times it will be too attacking a lineup. Plus, a utility attacking mid/ forward who can push up when one of the front guys is having an off day or needs a rest would be a welcome addition.

Kramer, I can’t understand how anyone could logically want to sign Navas. Unless you’d like us to concede a lot of goals next season, obviously.

Thank you Ed. That certainly clears up a few things. It could be that once one of the top goalies like Courtois move it could trigger others, I don’t know. I wonder it Fekir (with his injury history) is a risk with the high intensity play that Klop likes. But then I heard Draxler is very injury prone, so who knows. I don’t think he was mentioned but I’m assuming Lallana will leave?

{Ed002's Note - Draxler is not “vert injury prone”.}

What's the obsession with Alisson? He did nothing for Roma when we scored about 30 goals against them and has shown nothing in the World Cup to show he's at the level to demand anywhere near that kind of money.

He had a great season with Roma EpicPotato, you can't judge him on two games against possibly the best attack in Europe and a few WC performances. The lad is top notch mate. What would you say to somebody who only watched De Gea in the world cup and said 'what's the obsession with De Gea? ' I'm sure you might be saying how he's the best GK in the world and you can't just judge him on his performances at the WC.

He's the best option available other than strachkosha (spelt wrong but from lazio)

He's older, wiser and full international but 40 million is just simply to much for a gk that Sri has question marks over him.

I'm unsure why we haven't gone in for a good experience German gk like Ralph fahrmann, give some home feel for karius, mentor, and someone whose a very good gk.

Very good read Ed002. Thank you for this Sharkopod mate really appreciate it. Pretty much as you had been telling us for a while. I for one would love draxler if he arrived instead of Fekir. Should be obtainable also.
