How did he even do it? He didn't go down injured in the first half, didn't look uncomfortable, seemed to be moving freely. Its a shame, he plays well when fit.

There was a challenge he had with Kane where his leg did seem to get caught under Kane and I remember thinking "that didn't look good" but he carried on. Maybe a delayed response to that.

I do feel sorry for Matip as he is a great defender and a real asset to the team when fit but he is made of glass.

Spot on, SBandy. Could have been that. And Kane could have gotten hurt as well co he injured both his ankles during that first half.
