Allison- Trent Gomez Van Dijk Robertson- Henderson Fabinho Thiago- Salah Firmino Mane.

It's a squad game but who is our strongest 11. The 11 mentioned above or Konate in for Gomez and Jota in for one of the front 3?

If you stand still in football you are finished. And if we take the Salah/ Mane issue in to yet another season we want make top six.

That's the team I would start with, not necessarily finish games with. Konate still needs to become adjusted to our way of play and prove he's better than Gomez. Jota is perfect to come in for one of the front 3, when things aren't happening.

Jota in for Firmino atm. Konate would need to prove himself first before he deserves his place in the first 11.

Konate was bought to be a starter, so I think it’s safe to assume he is going to be in the strongest 11.
As for Jota, I think he would have been replacing Mane in the starting 11 if he managed to stay fit last season. So I think this season it’s 50/ 50 as to who is the starter between him and Mane, unless Mane is sold. But I expect Jota to leapfrog Mane soon.

I guessed so, Ed02 cos you said that Klopp was looking for a starter next to VVD since last season. As for the front three, we need players to play with them instead of trying to get rid of any one of them, IMO.

Mane finished with 25 goals and assists over the season. Bobby finished with 18. I think Jota is likely to replace any of the front 3 over the season as I’m sure they will work around quite some bit over the season. Let’s not forget we lose Mane and Salah to the AFCON for 4-6 weeks as well.

All 4 will get game time but I think Jota will be in for the big games ahead of Firmino.
