Does anyone know why Mo Salah has not been credited with an assist? - he actually made the goal. It was credited on the BBC site but has since been withdrawn.

I believe it’s because the ball actually went through Nunez’ legs, hit the Fulham players foot and then rebounded back onto Nunez’ foot which is why it ends up going top corner.

So it was actually a rather lucky finish, although really good movement.

You would actually imagine what happened to be almost physically impossible if told before hand.

Marginally missing a back heel but as your still in the momentum phase of it the ball ricochets back and ends up in the top corner.

Nah he intentionally missed it and adjusted his foot at the last second to score a wonder goal ?.
