Best ever keeper and I don't think that's red tinted ed25? He's immense.

{Ed025's Note - hes an excellent keeper Marty, probably the best in the world at the moment, but best ever?....has not had the longevity of the likes of Yashin, Banks, Clemence, Southall, Shilton, Schmichael etc, but who knows?, he could be mate..

In my lifetime I have not seen a better keeper. Ed025 has been alive since the English professional football system was launched in the 1800s so I'm sure he might have a better idea.

JK23, that wasn’t a flap, it was a lightening quick reaction to stop the ball spinning over the line. A great double save. Then he reacted, while still on the floor, to knock it to safety for a corner. I suppose you expected Gordon Banks to hold that header from Pele?

If we are talking about greatest ever goalkeeper's then Buffon has to be mentioned imo.

A question for the older supporters: Is Becker better than Ray Clemence? who is genuinely considered to be Liverpool's greatest ever goalkeeper.

Well I stand by my comments. He didn't need to put it out for a corner. Right now our Allison for me is the best number 1 out there.
As for best ever literally ed 25 named all the best I would have said. Fingers crossed he continues his career and can become one on that list.
For me he's got a little more to do before matching Schmicheal.
