Grino is right. Even though Salah scored the second penalty given, it still weren’t a great penalty and it mostly is he down the middle slightly to the left or right and always at a good height for the keeper. His missed penalty against Bournemouth and Arsenal should have been when he was no longer our penalty taker. No one is saying he is a useless player, he is one of the best the club has seen…. But he can’t take penalties. I’d rather Trent, Sab, or even VVD be given a try. It’s something they need to seriously talk about because 0-0 with a minute to go and Mo steps up for a pen I’m not so confident. If he runs through on goal at 0-0 last minute I’m confident.

Salah taken off eh? Good thing he stayed on, involved in all 4 goals! and could have had 2 more assists if Nunez had more luck. Fantastic 2nd half from Salah!

Just hold on a minute @LFCDas, I’m pretty sure that when a couple of the lads have watched the rerun of the game 5 or 6 times I’m pretty sure we’ll find out what we did wrong and why it wasn’t a cracking, good, old fashioned end to end football match.

For me, just before the enjoyment of the game gets taken away from me, I loved it - a cracking good game of football.
