I’m the first to say that no one is bigger than the club. Players, managers and staff come and go. But this feels different. What Klopp has done for LFC is just amazing and cannot be overstated. He has his critics and has made mistakes of course. People point to the fact he should maybe have won more trophies but that is missing the point. The hope and belief he has brought the fans and the sheer joy of watching them play sensational football is what I hope he will be remembered for.

I think it would be quite easy for a manager to come in and take Klopps current squad and tactics and just carry the ball forward the Klopp way.

But the problem is whoever does come in is going to want to put their stamp on things and not be on Klopps shadow so that means their tactics, their formation and even some of their players.

Plus we have the players who love playing for Klopp. Will another manager and coaches get the same out of them.

I don’t think it’s all doom and gloom but I do believe that replacing Klopp isn’t going to be as easy or straightforward as people think.

We have 3 of our most important players due out of contract in 16 months with no DOF or manager in place moving forward to negotiate those contracts.

I don’t expect us to go into free fall like we did in the 90’s or like Utd did when Fergie left but I also don’t see us hitting the current heights Klopp does season after season for at least a couple of years.

For me though nothing will change I’ll still be at the ground or supporting from home week in week out.

Time to enjoy the last 4 months of Klopp reign starting with the Fa cup tomorrow and Chelsea on Wed.

People tend to forget where we were before Klopp and that is pretty much where Spurs are now. The odd decent season when we would get in the top 4 but more often than not it was 5th to 8th.

He took us from there to the best in the world and his influence cannot be understated.

Now it’s the club’s job to build on what Klopp started and make it another dynasty. Their next move is absolutely critical.

Based on people’s opinions on here the fact that Ljinders is leaving too should mean we win every game next season.

Jurgens persona and potency carry a lot of weight when it comes to leadership. I cringe thinking back to Brendan Brent's leadership. It is night and day.

I could see Xabi garnering the same levels of respect, although in an understated way. He is a humble and intelligent person, destined for the top in management in my opinion.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the value of the club over the next few years. Jurgen has had the club punching above its weight comparatively speaking.

"He (Xabi) is a humble and intelligent person, destined for the top in management in my opinion".

The very tools you need to become a good to top manager. And the very things the likes of BR lacked in spades.
