Hey ed just registered and love the new happy feeling to the site! got a few questions that i've been thinking about -
1) Do you think the club are looking at Costa as a Suarez replacement or will a replacement be bought after he has gone?
2) Do you know of any attempts to bring in a defensive midfielder, Ed001 did mention one is now on the agenda and you mentioned earlier Spearing is looking to move on so one would be needed?
3) Are there any other centre halfs besides Papa that you know we have an interest in?
Cheers ed love the site and keep up the good work! {Ed002's Note - (1) If Liverpool buy Costa that will be it for forwards for this summer. (2) Players have been looked at but right now the defence has to be the focus. (3) There has been interest in a number of centre backs as discussed.

Hey eds just wondering if the talk of Downing to West Ham is true?
If true surely we are going to need a replacement? as it seems a bit dumb letting people go from the attack which is an area we a still trying to strengthen i'll admit Downings not been great in his time here but he tries his best, doesn't complain and the width he provides is important for the team. So overall i'd say he is a good squad player.
