I just want to throw Andre Ayew out there again as a target and get the views of many people including eds. How would everyone feel if this was the guy to take our left sided spot?
personally he ticks all the boxes and would be great signing with pace power creativity and an eye for goal whilst still at the relatively young age of 23.
I'm sure many on here will throw me to the lions, yet again for this post like my last, but I don't have anyone in the know, and just like to throw out possibilities and suggestions? Look forward to positive and/or constructive feedback? {Ed002's Note - Marseille were told yesterday that Newcastle will be making their expected bid.}

Hi eds, after our first 3 games of the season and fought tests fast approaching on the whole I think we have looked impressive! However, one thing keeps niggling away at me in our performances and something I think needs addressing. Defending set pieces. We seem incredibly lightweight and vulnerable when deliveries come into the box with neither goalkeeper or defenders taking responsibility. Do you think this is a problem too, or am I being too critical? And if so, is it something that can be remedied by our defensive summer targets? {Ed023's Note - The club are looking to bring in a center back}

With cissokho complete we, I think, still need more additions. Ideally a cb, deep midfielder, creative player and striker. I know these won't all happen this window but one name that has recently sprung up is Leandro Damiao. Is there a reason why we haven't been linked or 'gone for' him sooner. Is he a possibility? how much? etc. Surely he would be a better option than Willian, especially in terms of scoring goals?
Finally any news regarding Sakho, he really interests me, what are your thoughts on him as a player and a target? Could they or one of them happen this summer?
