My friends wife is a nutritionist for Roda in the Netherlands, she says that one of clients, Anouar Kali, has been asking about her home city of Liverpool a lot recently. She says that he has mentioned to her that His agent is trying to get some Liverpool interest in him and he would be keen on a move there. He's 22 and he's just shy of 5"6' and apparently he's a little demon of a midfielder.

I've been hearing from friends abroad that we made some tentative enquiries about Andy Polo at San Martin before his switch to Inter and also Santos left winger Victor Andrade. Neither seems particularly amazing first team quality but both seem young and exciting attacking players. Whilst we may have not managed to bring these players to Liverpool, do you think that this is, firstly, true and secondly the shape of transfer policy to come? Young, pacy, flairy type attackers to learn from the SAS?
