Hi eds around january time we were linked with romulo of spartak who was just returning from long term injury. Is there any interest there from us or others that you know of as he seems to be back playing again recently.

redsaidfred

{Ed002's Note - I don't know of there ever being any interest in Romulo from Liverpool and one has to consider the problems (similar to Michael Essien) he has had over the past two years and if it would make sense to risk funds on him. I wouldn't - but to be fair he is a very well respected player.}

Hi eds your thoughts on a matter if you have time. I am just thinking on when the club should cash in on suarez. In my opinion this summer represents the best chance to get a high fee. He is currently 27 and at his peak would prob fetch 70 mill. He is unlikely to have another season like this added to thr fact he will be 28 next summer his value is going to continually drop. Before everyome starts going mad saying we should hang onto him forever the club is running a business and we need that money to compete. He just needs to be replaced with the right players who will also offer resale value like jese from madrid. I also wouldn mind us selling to a prem rival as I have the feeling he is flourishing because of the way we set up and players around him. Its a perfect fit for his talents and clubs with other big stars might not accomadate so easily like torres found. Would love to hear the eds opinions on above

{Ed002's Note - I would expect the club will look to keep him. As to what he will do, they are keeping options open.}

Hi eds regarding alberto moreno do you now how recently we made enquiry to sevilla and also what other clubs hold an interest

redsaidfred

{Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely that Alberto Moreno will be sold in the January transfer window. The full release clause for Spanish clubs is being asked by Sevilla and that has so far put off interest from Chelsea, Cardiff, Spurs and Real Madrid. Manchester United also had him looked at but will take it no further.}

Hi eds what's your opinion on the rumours regarding badu from udinese. Real or just media bull. Also what's his reputation like on paper he just looks like another squad player and not an upgrade. He has said there is no point in stockpiling players

redsaidfred

{Ed001's Note - I don't know anything about the lad, sorry.}

Hi eds I have heard that martinez had attended a work permit for fernando of porto during the summer. Does this mean that they had a fee agreed and personal terms. I know recently that eu citizenship has been awarded which would make a transfer easier. Is he highly rated.

redsaidfred

{Ed002's Note - They had agreed a fee with Porto.}

Hi eds what's your opinions on salah as a player watching him v chelsea and looks decent in an ordinary team {Ed001's Note - he does look a good player, certainly got pace and has troubled the Chelsea defence more this season than just about anyone. It will be a step up for the lad, playing in the English league, but he does look capable of making the grade on his Champions League performances.}

Hi eds just wondering on your thoughts on 2 players for midfield mulombu of west brom and and zonzi of stoke how do you rate them and would either be attainable. Also who would you like to see signed in that position {Ed001's Note - I am not impressed with N'Zonzi, but Mulumbu looks better every time I see him play. He offers pace, power, workrate and looks solid positionally. My only worry is about his ability on the ball, is it good enough for us? I am not sure, though he does seem to have a decent range of passing.}

Hi all not an over reaction to yesterdays result but the performance was very worrying. Most of the games lost last year we deserved something from. The problem I feel is gerrard and lucas both were awful yesterday don't look fit and were very lethargic. Also swansea passed us off park and southampton pressed us off park. This was meant to be template for rogers team and yet we can do neither and the reason is the above mentioned players who are not suited to system but with big reps. Also just watched game again aspas wasnt so bad certainly better than sterling. Allen has to come back in at least he can retain possesion in tight areas.

Hi would one of the eds be so kind to reply as to the nature and extent of skrtels injury as I understood he was close to leavingor perhaps he is only here until agger recovers. Also coates seems to have slipped below wisdom in pecking order but no interest in him. We seem content on letting players leave before replacements are secure strange {Ed002's Note - Until the club say anything about it no one will know. Ed001 has climbed the fence at Melwood before and tried to examine the players himself, but the court order means he cannot do that any longer.}
