Is it just me or do both Liverpool and England seem to play a hell of a lot better when Henderson is on the pitch.

Nope most the Liverpool fans know how important he is to us, he just had a massive injury setback and didn't return to form. It's not like he won't return to form ever again, and when he does he will be far and away our best midfielder.

I think next season is a pivotal one for Henderson. He needs to step it up, assert himself and run the show in the middle. I hope he stays injury free; there are one too many injury prone players in this squad.

Clearly its not just the op that thinks so then despite what some would like us to believe. We might not have collapsed so readily if hendo was on the field last weds at least he would not have given up and stopped chasing midfield runners.

When he came on for england he sprayed some lovely balls to vardy and kane. No he has not had his best form this season, but now his heel has ruptured i fully expect him to have a good euros and come back for preseason on good form and raring to go.

I think hendos a good player, just not for Liverpool. I like him, I wish he was good enough but he's not. We must have better if we're to go for European football. I have said it a few times and been slammed for it but I genuinely think he's wasting our and his own time as this club.

Yes he's had bad luck with injuries and can sympathise with him there but nah, summer 17 he'll be moved on.

I know it is hard to see what hendo does but the correlation is that we play and defend a lot better with him than without! Every time he gets injured we drop off. Not that we don't have bad games with him, but without him, we get a lot worse, doesn't matter who is in his place. Fact is the guy adds a lot of tactical nouse and solid midfield play to our team, similar to that which players like drinkwater, carrick, fletcher, dembele etc have done before, don't appear to do a lot but do the stuff mindless fans do not crave. Otherwise known as contributing without being noticed.

hendo is a very good player, he had some very good games for us and that's with carrying his injuries, when he is injury free he is a top talent, our manager is the expert and he thinks he is a very good player other wise he would not be captain, but its great to see our fans support our players on here, some don't know the meaning of supporter, its shows how good he is when we missed him in the run up when we finished 2nd, because I've always thought if he was playing in the last few games that season then we would have had a better chance of winning the prem.
