I know he's not a DM or particularly what we need desparately but I think Liverpool should go in for Ramsey (Villa). Can cover a few positions, Full of energy, young, very talented as well.

He is very good at breaking into the box, and making those late runs, and his finishing is pretty decent too. But, I don;t find his passing or ball control that good. But I guess if Lampard can make a such a brilliant career out of it, then so can he.

Yeah I signed him on FIFA. Very good but his growth stops at around 80. Ovr.

Good prospect alright but we need to focus on a defensive midfielder not another attacking one. Villa would want around £50M too I'd expect, again money we need spent more on defensive positions.

I've seen most papers saying Chelsea are keen, but do you see Marc Guehi on Liverpool's radar at all? I personally think for the right price, could be a decent signing.

He is right footed, though plays on the left side. I think our priority is a left footed CB, who can also do well when dragged out wide.

Hi everyone, im new here so don't shoot me down if its already been squashed..
But did we place a formal bid for Valverde a few weeks ago which was rejected, does anyone know if yes and if so any further updates as I haven't seen anything in regards to another improved bid or such
I am worried that are midfield, if Hendo and Fab go that we are going to be in a similar position as last season.. we needed to strengthen then and now we've let a lot of midfielders go and so far only brought in 2 and potentially 2 more. I think if they both do depart we are going to need at least 3 to come in, what's are your guys thoughts?

I think the whole thing was a made up rumour from a Catalan source, it's surfaced twice. I highly doubt we'd be stupid enough to just bid for a player who has no intention of joining us, who plays for a team who have no intention of selling.

Both going is disastrous and not sure why it’s being sanctioned. Fabinho could go if we brought in someone similar to cover his role. Losing Henderson means losing a lot of leadership on and off the field. Really concerned about next season.

Probably an unpopular opinion by I can’t see why Valverde would leave Real at this stage to join Liverpool.
The guy played 56 games for them last season and contributed 19 goals and assists.
It might be our dreams as fans to play for LFC but I think the majority of modern day footballers would choose Real over Liverpool.
Real will be aiming to win the league and CL this season. We will be hopefully putting a title challenge together and in the Europa.
{Ed077's Note - and where would he fit in? He isnt a DM type player and he would for sure be too expensive to be brought in as a bench option??}

Caceido is not the one as Brighton are holding firm for £100m. We weren't prepared to pay that for Bellingham ;/ I'd be happy with Lavia and Gravenberch, Klopp can work his magic and make a monster midfield plus back ups.
Plus although I do actually like Konate/ VVD partnership, I would love for us to sign a top CB to compete and potentially give us an option of playing 3 at the back in certain scenarios
Who's the top target for CB now a few more have become unavailable?
