Hi all,
Been following this site since the old Simao, Aguero rumour days but first time posting.
Just curious to know if you could choose any one player from the Premier League to join Liverpool (not matter how unrealistic) who would you choose?
For me its a straight fight between Aguero and De Gea.
Both players would make an instant impact to our team and are much needed.
I think however I would have to choose De Gea purely as I know how much it would upset United fans!
Interested to know other people's choices, though I can already imagine Aguero being a popular choice.

Would agree with the Ed would be Courtois for me. Closely followed by Matic.
{Ed001's Note - I was just thinking that our weakest link is goalkeeper, whereas we have a very good holding midfielder already, for now.}

I'd pick courtois too, purely because he would be the biggest improvement although aguero is world class

Lloris, quality sweeper keeper who, if we adopted the high line, pressing style (which I hope we do) would fit it to a tee.

Personally I'd have tried to buy Lloris when we were top 4 I believe he would have come at that point and what a keeper

I would have put money on you going for Neil Taylor Ed after my last post. ;)
Personally, I'd normally go for Courtois or Matic but I'm going to throw in a curveball and say Laurent Kosceilny.

I would love Matic at Liverpool. He for me is the best signing Chelsea have had in past 5 years. Without him they would never win the league.

If you are by the DLR then recommend The Gun by Blackwall DLR station. It's a bit pricey but great food and a nice location on the river as well as lots of TVs. Finding a decent pub in Watford is hard work though! Lived there for 10 years.

From my experience of being in Asia, there are lots of football fans here but they often don't have one 'real' team they support. It's often down to if local players are in a particular team. Right now in Japan almost everyone I meet is either a Leicester or AC Milan fan due to Okazaki and Honda. Though Arsenal and Man United still have a lot of fans. I have met maybe two Liverpool fans in the last year or two here.

I am rather biased as I lived in Watford for a while and was a season ticket holder there but Troy Deeney is a really underrated player in my opinion. Maybe hasn't scored as many as he should have but creates a lot and is a real handful all game, never gives up. And I am currently living in Japan and they show a lot of Leicester games due to Okazaki and he really is a great player. If he was a few years younger he would be so perfect for this Liverpool team, reminds me a little of Ings but has some real quality to him. Kante, as the Ed said, has had a truly incredible season!
