Hi there, appreciate all the hard work everyone does here.

I was wondering if we’re in for federico chiesa this summer? With the thought process that salah moves elsewhere?

I reckon Salahs contract was just to keep his value high. I reckon he could be gone in the summer. I love Salah to bits but there have been so many occasions where the team could have won or drawn if he had lifted his head up and passed.

If Salah leaves, then so be it. But Chiesa is bang average and injury prone. I'd honestly rather play Elliott on the right wing, than sign Chiesa.

Is Salah’s contract for 8 and a half years? Or am I thinking of Mudryk, Fernandez and the other 15 or so midfielders who headed down to the Bridge? Imagine if we or anybody else decided to cash in before the contract ran full term.

MK, I'm one for moving Salah on, either this summer or next summer, while he still retains good value. However, if we are going to replace him, I'd rather we did it with a right sided winger/ forward, than a makeshift Attacking Midfielder. Maybe it's a position Kaide Gordon can make his own?

I don't rate Gordon that highly, Brisbane. Can't see him making it here. Doak is already better. Frauendorf is at least as good too. Elliott is a right winger. He always played there at youth level, when he broke into Fulhams team, and on loan at Blackburn. He's been shoehorned into attacking midfield if anything, which is why he ends up drifting so wide all the time. I'm not convinced Elliott is good enough to replace Salah, but he's no worse than Chiesa who only has 19 goals in 3 seasons.

MK, sorry mate I was actually thinking of Ben Doak but said Kaide Gordon by mistake. Doak should absolutely be getting any right wing minutes that are available. I think he and Bajcetic are the two that look like they can integrate into the first team above the others.

MK, apologies if mistaken, but I could have sworn a season or two ago you were raving about Chiesa saying we should sign him? I always thought he looked very lovely, not necessarily a major goal scorer, but a very energetic player with good drive.

Unless Salah gets back on form pretty quickly I wouldn’t mind if he left. Let’s be honest he hasn’t been great for 12 months now. Yeah he scores goals but he isn’t doing much else right now, especially compared to how he used to be terrorising defenders with his skill and pace. I don’t remember the last time he beat his marker. Yeah goals are the most important thing and all that but people slate Jota for being a good goalscorer and not contributing much else so I don’t really see the difference. Same comparison with Haaland at City. He’s undoubtedly great but does he make them better? If some one offered me £50m+ for Salah at 31 years old in the summer on current form I’d take it.

Not me Stuie, i've never wanted Chiesa. I've always said Bowen would be my pick to replace Salah, but he's had a rough season so far to be fair and again, not convinced he's better than Elliott on current form.

Ah OK, must have gotten mixed up. Agree on Bowen, I thought he would be an excellent addition but he's really dropped off recently. I see Moyes was saying the fact he wasn't picked for England really had an effect on him.
