The Athletic article seems to be classic clickbait - three clubs in the running, but two have more money than the other one and that might play a part in any potential decision. Nothing new or earth shattering here. I for one still expect us to complete the signing. They know Liverpool fans will fervently jump all over this and are taking advantage of that fact in my opinion.

That's very, very skeptical as Sir Kenny would always respect the old Liverpool way of keeping it in house, and would no way undermine Jurgen's position at the club, as it's Jurgens's privilege to be the first to announce new signings.

Kenny Dalglish has literally not tweeted this. Does anyone seriously believe that FSG are going to sanction spending of £250m+ without there being substantial sales to counter it? Because that just isn’t happening.
