Wirtz release clause is £29.5 Million (TNT Sports) no wonder FSG and everyone else interested.
1.) 16 May 2025 22:07:10
Yeah, he’ll have his choice of many clubs.
2.) 16 May 2025 22:22:45
That’s can’t be right. Every club in Europe would be after him for that price.
3.) 16 May 2025 22:34:05
That is Frimpongs supposed clause.
4.) 16 May 2025 22:55:32
I think Bond had been at the martinis again!
Easy to confuse between Frimpong and Wirtz, I guess!
5.) 17 May 2025 01:53:58
In all seriousness, is anyone able to carry out a social visit or wellness check for 007? I do worry sometimes.
6.) 17 May 2025 04:29:18
More gummies man! : )
7.) 17 May 2025 04:50:47
Florian Wirtz transfer value is anywhere between 100-150M Euro (140M Euro, 120M gbp -January per transfermarkt) . let's stop playing video games and do the research please. ynwa.
8.) 17 May 2025 07:04:19
Wirtz has no "release" clause.
9.) 17 May 2025 07:27:26
@Kaiser - nice work with Transfermarkt - I nominate you to do the research so the rest of us can have fun making stuff up.
10.) 17 May 2025 08:05:17
Isn’t a players value only what another club is willing to pay.
11.) 17 May 2025 09:44:05
Spot on @JK.
12.) 17 May 2025 12:25:11
@West, if your a troll making stuff up go back to X. Now go back to your gaming.

Richard Hughes has already made three superb signings for LFC surely, although deep down I really think that Arne wanted the following also, nevertheless ye still have to get them over the line.
The Goalkeeper Mamardashvili who cost circa £33 million, Alisson going will pay that fee plus extra pounds into the transfer kitty. The last time LFC had a goalkeeeper who could also kick with his left foot was probably the best ever LFC goalie Ray Clemence, so the omens are good.
He must have also been involved with signing Chiesa, a world class player for circa £10.5 million, his football experience is second to none.
Thirdly Rio n"GOD"moha who could well develop into a top talent, i hate to say it like Sterling possibly.
Are the above not three excellent signings as Hughes officially took the job on the 01 June 2024, and the above three were signed after him joining and Arne ( who should really take the credit for me), ye can not say he has left Bournemouth in the mire, with the quality of signings he's made there or overseen.
Rumour has it that he's found the next MANE who currently plays for the same club we signed MANE from, who was not included in the Soton team today, don't whether because of injury, Kamaldeen Sule"MANE" who was recorded as the fastest player in the World Cup in 2022,plays left wing also.
He would beat Mbappe on one leg with a ten yard start, he has already scored two goals against us in the premiership years ago, !
1.) 20 Jan 2025 00:33:27
You can hide behind “007” all you want but I know that’s you Richard. Get us a left back please.
2.) 20 Jan 2025 01:05:15
Where have you read the rumour about the Southampton lad, looks absolutely ballistic. Gave Yoro for United a torrid time.
3.) 20 Jan 2025 05:29:09
Slot was the right man
Chiesa has played a few minutes, let's see how he fits into the squad going forward
Vili had upside but has never played in the EPL so will take time to adapt. He had good upside but will also need good coaching and work on his distribution.
Mr Hughes as A LOT of work to do.
4.) 20 Jan 2025 05:43:10
Sulamane has scored 1 goal this season and hardly played for Southampton.
5.) 20 Jan 2025 06:32:31
You are fooling no one by changing your name Richard Hughes ?.
6.) 20 Jan 2025 07:48:10
Mamardashvili -Kicking? Are you sure about that? Check ED002 comments aboutthis very topic.
I do like a nice positive post, however.
7.) 20 Jan 2025 08:43:39
Kelleher can kick off both feet as well as anyone. Still think singing a keeper was a waste of time and focus.
8.) 20 Jan 2025 09:37:12
They are not three superb signings yet though.
9.) 20 Jan 2025 10:53:22
Sulameen could be a belter signing but one of them under the radar jobs he came with a big rep, I remember the last day of the season when Southampton were relegated and we drew I think 3 - 3 at St marys he was ripping us a new one like yoro tasted.
10.) 20 Jan 2025 12:35:30
No way people are suggesting we should sign a forward with two goals in three years (with one of those years being in the championship). I’ve not just read that right, surely.
11.) 20 Jan 2025 18:36:58
Alisson going aye. Has a few tepid games and he’s suddenly surplus. Nonsense… still the best keeper around for me. Hughes is a negligent fool and out of his depth.
12.) 20 Jan 2025 21:09:01
"FRIED" Kippers, It is Arne who has decided Becker is surplus to requirements, as if he was happy with Becker he would not have replaced him would he. Hughes takes his orders from Arne not the other way round.
{Ed001's Note - bollox. Slot wanted him so much he was sent out on loan? Nonsense.}
05 Aug 2019 08:43:16
Simple Simon gone to Bruges for £6 Million. Radio Merseyside reports a mass brawl between City and Red fans at Portland Street Underground an hour before the game numerous arrests made. It is by Regents Park soon to be renamed "Regents NARK"?
1.) 05 Aug 2019 09:49:03
Seen the clip. Harmless 5 or 6 from both sides being idiots.
04 Jun 2019 18:31:49
Ed025, As you are Eco Friendly?, i have to inform you, No "JAG" for next season!
Jovic has gone to Real Madrid for 52 million Euro.
{Ed025's Note - yeah its a shame 007, hes been a great servant to the club and i wish him all the best for the future mate..
09 May 2019 22:06:00
Apparently Jurgen has the 'Hots' for Ajax winger, David Neres not HOTSPUR (Tottenham)!
1.) 10 May 2019 02:11:06

3.) 05 Jun 2025 06:13:43
Don't ever change 007.

He could be using his posterior @Flash.

Two killed and 559 arrests across France after PSG sealed a historic European Cup win.
One may conclude that PSG will take some shifting in the European Cup for years to come? young team, top class manager and Qatar Oil Money backing them (trouble causers gone from the club Neymar, M"BABY"as well) .
But the biggest, biggest advantage that they will always have and which Real Madrid also had since they first started dominating Europe in the 1950/ 60s and until very recently is that they play every season in a very below average league, basically it's comparable to the Celtic/ Rangers domination of the Scots League since records began, who can rival PSG in the Ligue1, I would say only the PSG reserve team!
In the French League there are also only 34 games in a season, so at one match a week that is the same as a whole month without football games, French Ligue1 also has a two week winter break, six weeks in a season without french football.
Same nearly goes for Real Madrid (15 E/ Cs who are their rivals bar Barcelona (5E/ Cs), Bayern Munich also enjoy a monopoly in the Bundesliga 6 E/ Cs like us and only play 34 league games in a season like PSG and of course enjoy a winters break of circa a month, only difference between the big European Clubs is LFC play in the most gruelling, tiring league in Europe and probably the World as well without a winter break also.
It is like saying the French Ligue1 is the same standard of the top half of the English Championship and bottom half of the Premier League, therefore they really have to play flat out all season to win their respective leagues in Europe, where has the premier is blood and thunder nearly every week or as Shanks said a "Marathon not a Sprint"
Jurgen knew all about the heavy toll on players the Prem has and so will Arne now, will Arne go all out for the prem again next year, hopefully yes while he is rebuilding his first own "SQUAD" with his own signings, then when they are bedded in and probably another influx of signings next summer window, we can then threaten Europe's elites who have an easier life League wise every season.
LFC and Villa have both beaten PSG in this seasons UCL, but only went out because PSG were fresher and more rested in those two games, the same must apply for us when we meet PSG again a full weeks LFC rest must be considered to fight "fire with fire" and of course plenty of penalty practice would not go amiss either, if it comes down to it.
1.) 02 Jun 2025 22:29:33
What have the deaths and arrests got to do with it?
2.) 03 Jun 2025 02:42:45
He’s just weird Rigsby, and possibly concussed.
3.) 03 Jun 2025 10:59:21
Spot on, Rigsby. I have no idea what the first line has to do with the rest of the comment. Wierd as hell.
4.) 03 Jun 2025 13:10:59
It’s a peek into the future when bots talk to each other and it makes no sense to humans. At the moment there is only one bot, in effect we are hearing half of a bot conversation which makes it even weirder.

With John Heitinga now the Ajax head coach, it's fair to presume that Liverpool's very, very keen interest in Jorrel Hato will have to wait till Heitinga takes stock of the present situation at Ajax, which could be his first pre-season when the players return from holiday (circa July) .
Though one hopes that Arne only let's him leave LFC on the proviso that Jorrel Hato will become a Liverpool Football Club Player for the start of the new season.
I also fully expect this Jorrel to be at least 100 times better than the current Jorrel on the playing staff.
1.) 31 May 2025 16:03:53
fat fingers? Jorrel is the dutch version of Jarrel!
2.) 31 May 2025 17:23:52
If I was Heitinga I’d want to keep my best players not sell them to the club I’ve just come from.
3.) 31 May 2025 17:41:55
Wouldn't it be best for Hato to continue developing at Ajax for now? He's barely going to get a look-in if he comes this summer.
4.) 31 May 2025 19:53:12
So Longthing76, If Heitinga had gone to Bayer Leverkusen to replace Alonso, you would not have sold Jeremie or Wirtz to LFC, and using your "analogy" that must apply to every other club new manager or not? Bournemouth/ Kerkez etc
The idea of any player transfer is to improve your own club to the detriment of all your opponents, by taking their best players, don't you want Arne to improve the current LFC squad as it seems not by not wanting Hato to join LFC.

The Year of the Birds:
Top Spot the Liver Bird as usual!
Thankfully the Eagles

Evertons Toffee Lady the "UGLY" Bird
Man City should be doing "BIRD"
Arteta, Guardiolas "STOOL PIGEON"
Bottom place as always Manure the "DO-Do"s.
1.) 22 May 2025 11:39:59
Especially the STOOL PIDGEON.
21 May 2025 22:02:11
Oh when the "SPURS GO MARCHING IN".
11 Jun 2025 18:51:15
Manure want £77 million for Garnacho, Arsenal are keen at that price! Morning papers say LFC is interested in Martinelli! one hopes not! same for "Gordons Gin" also!
11 Jun 2025 18:34:57
Hello Zeddicus,
Have things gone quiet on Lau-"TAROT" Martinez because Inter are presently in the FIFA World Club in the USA.
LFC will wait one would think if they are indeed interested as Martinez or other targets at the FIFA World Club could have a very serious injury, talk about egg on your faces then!
LFC will very sensibly wait till the tournament is finished, I would not be surprised if Becker was included in the transfer for Martinez, as centre forward is a bigger priority for a team, as historically it's harder to score goals than keep them out! and Arne must rate Mamardashvili very highly to make him his first LFC signing and wait for a whole year!
Their are strong rumours that Heitinga is very interested in Jaros going to Ajax, hopefully Hato the other way, what a talent he is?
06 Jun 2025 20:33:15
Perhaps with Florian hopefully on board, Arne wants to copy the great Holland team that played "total football" in the 70s, masterfully led by the late Johan Cruyff (April 1947-March 2016), with Florian becoming the new Johan Cruyff.
06 Jun 2025 19:04:33
Cameron (Scottish Connection perhaps?
The SPFL= The Scottish Premier Football League is of a higher standard than Turkey, all the players are Christmas "Turkeys"
05 Jun 2025 23:04:01
Hello Hoody,
Was only using amorim (they worked together at sporting) as a gauge, if he's the best thing since slice bread why buy cunha who is also 15 million dearer, nunez and jota both came from the same poor standard league with similar stats, brighton, swansea and coventry also got shut of him.
however to back your POV Hoody, todays manchester evening news reporting interest in Gykores.
11 Jun 2025 18:15:32
Hopefully it goes away like the Chinese Premier League has, as the Hulk, Oscar and Tevez, Arnautovic, Lavezzi etc were famous players in the Chinese Super League and high profile managers such as Scolari, Sven-Gorak Ericcson, Marcel Lippi, Pellegrini and one such Rafa Benitez!
115 charges and counting have gone minus Kovacic who has had Achilles Ankle Surgery and not expected back till the New Year, a couple more would be nice and Chelsea also wouldn't shed any tears.
Channel Five is showing 23 games-15 group matches, four last 16 ties, two quarter finals, one semi final and the final-live on terrestial TV. Fans are also able to watch all 63 games via a live stream on DAZN globally for free. The winners will pocket£96.9 million, and the ultimate winners as well as the trophy for four years, get to sport a lovely gold badge on the chest of their shirts until the next CWC in 2029.The favourites for the Final are PSG and RM, with the digital boffin (AI) saying both English clubs will be knocked out by Benfica in the knock out stages. The final is 13 July 2025, they reckon Trump will be giving the Trophy out, "A Phoney to a Phoney" comes to mind?
Though it's odds on LFC will face either 115 charges and counting and Chelsea in the very first games of the season, as they will be circa two-three months ahead in terms of fitness, up to speed and more game playing time, the new premier season fixtures are out a week today 18 June 2025 at 9.00am
LFC were away for Arne's first premier league game last year at Ipswich, wouldn't surprise me if LFC were in Liverpool for this seasons first premier league game away at Bramley Moore "DOCK" which will be the first dock in Liverpool never to have the esteemed Premier-"SHIP"! ever landing there?
Put ye Boxing Gloves away ed025, that one's older than you!
{Ed025's Note - it will be great when we host your lot 007, i cant wait to see all those long ships sailing up the Mersey full of your supporters mate.. :)
10 Jun 2025 23:43:25
With more top, top players to follow hopefully? LFC must not stop at Wirtz, Centre Forward, Centre Back and possibly another mid-field player for Harvey if he moves.
Jurgen Klopp adored the massively talented "Di-STEFANO" Bajcetic hopefully his very bad injury is behind him now as his two loan spells have indicated this, he could become for Arne another new top, top class asset 21 on 22 October 2025, still a Puppy age and experience wise can't understand people berating him on You Tube highlights, he will play better with good players around him as his first 22 team games all comps under Jurgen "PROVED", who are much better than the loan clubs players at other loan clubs last season, let's see him play at Arne-Field which is the only real realistic Judge.
If "Di-Stefano" proves his fitness to play Premier League will be a massive addition to LFC, as there are no concerns about his footballing ability as Jurgen and his 22 LFC first team games has already proved, and will only increase ability wise with more LFC playing experience, and all for nothing as his circa £250,000 transfer has been well paid off! and is circa 600 times cheaper than Wirtz! and his contract does not expire till 30/ 06/ 2027.
"Di-Stefano" could answer a lot of mid-field and centre defensive questions for Arne-Field as he could well be with experience be "HANSEN"-esque" as the old centre-back pairing of Hansen and Lawrenson seems to be the preference of the modern day european coaches like Enrique recently, and which Arne may well follow?
08 Jun 2025 21:26:33
He had two bang average games against man utd in the quarter finals, if you can't impress against a man utd defence, what chances when facing a top class side's defence, think Arne dodged another one there!
Why is it Guardiola is going after all Arne's targets, Marmoush, Wirtz etc hasn't he got any Scouts, or are they too busy making "Fires in the Woods"!
08 Jun 2025 19:19:38
There's no doubt Nyoni and "Mack TWO"? have to be loaned out for a full season as the current under21 league is very weak, it has to be the Championship, Wrexham seems ideal a different country?! and more chances to play regularly in the first eleven, as no use going on loan to "SAY" Wrexham and only get a game now and then, they certainly have to be regular picks week in/ week out at whichever club they are loaned out to, as if at the end of next season they are not consistent regulars for that loan club, then they certainly won't be of the standard required by LFC for 2026 and beyond.
Plus also I can get to Chester for free on me John Wayne old age pensioners pass and only £6 on the bus there and back to Wrexham, as it's another country I have to pay on the Bus and John Wayne! "BOO"! or more apt "POO"! don't mind £6 to support the lads hopefully! might even go in me wellies? plenty of sheep in "Wrecsam" that's the Welsh spelling on the front of the Bus, its Terminus is right outside Chester Train Station and when alighting the Town Crier Pub is ten yards away!
08 Jun 2025 18:38:43
sofa fan, Lucky Sir Bob Paisley kept Ray kennedy and not a "number two" in the reserves as you say above, as Ray went on to win three European cups with LFC and umpteen leagues and cups, in fact Sir Bob converted him to a midfield player from a striker, Gravy ring any bells Sofa, as he was a "number two" also for Klopp till Arne's conversion.
Brentford are coming up in the world, signing Kelleher as a "number two" in your words, must mean Brentford are signing a world class goalkeeper so Caoimhin to be in your estimations a "number two" also like at LFC.
In a roundabout way that also means the "eleven number twos" Jurgen left, was turned into eleven "number ones" by Arne last season, of course the same can happen to Kelleher this season, but his worst outcome will be like his last club LFC where he was sadly a "number two".
You haven't read my first post correctly have you Sofa, Liverpool Football Club are signing Florian Wirtz, unless Arne Slot Football Club has circa £120 million in their " number two" bank account that is?
So there you have it Sofa, "number two's" can also be more successful "number one's", as all the absolute winning history above has proved!
