As Ed001 said, a shame it didn't work out. Hopefully he can get a decent loan/ move in Jan.

I guess with Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo, Jota and Elliot we have plenty of cover for Mo.

I guess if it wasn't for his relative lack of pace (compared to Mo) Elliot would be the natural choice being the only left-footer out of the 4 above?

Ed002 would he be able to go on loan again? 3 clubs in one season think that's not allowed right or am I completely wrong? is there any interest in him from another side that would happily take him on loan?

Gakpo's signing pretty much ended Carvalho's career at LFC. Hopefully he can find the right club for him as he's a good player.

I think it’s tough to say he definitely doesn’t have a future with us. If he comes back and applies himself correctly there’s every chance he could break into Klopp’s thinking.

From my understanding though he wants first team football now and if that’s the case and he’s not willing to be patient and put the work in then a loan is probably on the cards.

Some players just don’t suit some clubs, managers, formations and set ups. I don’t know that he’s “not good enough” I’ve not seen enough to be fair to judge. Wish him well wherever he goes and see if he does prove to be a player! We’ve helped players become successful in the prem from average starts and if he has the right desire and the right set up for him who knows?!
