Trent has played 301 games for Liverpool. He's been actually bad (as opposed to sad, obsessive weirdos employed by Sky Sports overanalysing his defending bad), at most, 20 times. Probably less.
Also we conceded twice *after* he left the pitch yesterday.

Think it’s fair to say that Trent divides opinion. I think we have looked slightly more solid at the back when he was out, but like at the same time, he does so much going forward. Klopp is happy to take those risks and knows a lot more about it than us. I like Trent but I think Bradley looks like a cracker too, great to have all these great players at our club.

Looking like Liverpool will try and finalise Gravenberch and Hincapié before the window shuts.

Not dead against this. However, not sure what the plan for Gravenberch would be. Will he be a starter at no6? Has he got a duel winning mentality? He's got the physical attributes but there have to be concerns about his attitude if he's not happy at a club like Bayern, who have had their own midfield issues of late.
Hincapie is an interesting one. Will cost a lot. He would be a full commitment to the new system. He's u21 so wouldn't take up a non-HG spot this season. Presumably that would give Tsimikas the signal to move on.
Add Andre in January, then I'd say that is a decent recovery of the window.
We'd still need a RCB at some point but I am sure we can look at that later.

I would be happy if tis were true. I suspect that they would be replacements for Thiago and Matip who are highly unlikely to remain at the club beyond this season. These 2 could then take their non-HG spots as required.

And I don't believe we will overpay for anyone cos whether you or I like it or not, Endo is here at DM with Baj as his back up who is now back from injury and so is Thiago and Jones so if any team thinks we are desperate then, they have another thing coming, IMO.

We are in talks with Benfica If reports are to believed. But who knows what at this point. Brilliant player and one I have been vocal about us getting. Seems to want to come to us, which should be a criteria going forward.
If we get Florentino and the 21 year old lad from Argentina Ezequiel Fernandez who is a DM but also a playmaker. Then that would be our midfield sorted.
Ezequiel Fernandez is a self confessed Liverpool fan and photos of him in a Liverpool top on the net are easily accessible. Those two and Inacio at LCB would see us challenge for the title.
I think it’s important we get two defensively astute players in front of the back 3. Trent has to play in front of those two DM’s not as one of them. Then we will see a completely different back line that ain’t stretch and exposed whenever a ball is lumped forward. Trent can still drop back if needs be. But he has the license to impact the game further forward without being a liability to the back line.

Absolute minimum is a midfielder, ideally a dedicated DM or a versatile player, and then rely on the younger back ups for the rest of the positions.
It's been a good long while since we were in this kind of position, I'm thinking of the lack of forwards back when there was just Suarez and Borini.
What was that, 10 years or more ago?
Please please, if we're going to do business, get a younger, mobile and durable signing.
No more of these terrible stop gaps and older players with fitness issues.
I don't care if we have to lash out, there was some good stuff on Sunday and another quality addition would be a real boost.

All I'm saying is they have been very clear they don't intend to bring anyone in this window, and they usually don't in January with a few exceptions when timing and opportunity was right, I have no idea on finalised targets but I do know that they have been looking at options in the defensive areas of the team, a center back and midfielder are the top of the list, their main priority in attack is to offer salah another contract extension and players are being looked at in case that doesn't happen.

Reading my reply again, I sounded like a right b*****, not my intention, I simply mean Liverpool don't work like that, they don't keep transfers a secret and then surprise everyone, they simply work on players they like every day, they're constantly looking at the market, and if a player they like becomes available, at the right price, they will go for it, none of the players they are looking at are available in January, so I'd quite simply say I'm 99.9% sure there won't be any made this window.
