Southampton speaking to Liverpool about taking Carvalho on loan until the end of the season, no option to buy included as of yet.

Would be a good move for him I think. Help them get promoted and get his confidence back. There's certainly a player there with Carvalho. Everything has just gone a little haywire for him and he hasn't had play time to develop. That's all the kid needs. And Southampton are a good fit. I like keeping a good connection with Southampton too.

Carvalho needs a good loan. Good technical player, who a bit weak (strength wise) and definitely short of confidence, but a good loan could see him become the player we all wanted when he signed.
