We know Southampton wanted Neco Williams and they’ve taken Minamino on loan. Would it be worth offering them both plus a bit of money for Ward-Prowse in the summer as a Wijnaldum replacement? He’s played RB before too so if Trent couldn’t play he’d fit if we’ll there in our team we wouldn’t be left short without Neco.

Other than his set pieces Ward-Prowse is pretty average and really not what we need aside from that. We need someone who is as comfortable on the ball as Wijnaldum but also actually influences the game defensively and offensively as well.

Ward-Prowse isn't good enough in open play to replace Wijnaldum, in my opinion. He adds value with set pieces, but given we've already got TAA as a right-footed taker, I'm not sure how much value he'd add for us.

We have thiago, hendo, fab, Jones, keita, milly just off top of my head. no room for anymore midfielders unless we can shift keita and milly decides to hang up his boots. even so I would hope we go for someone better than ward-prowse.

I don’t think we need Gini replacement but if were to sign one, for me Bissouma from Brighton. I really rate him highly!
