Premier league have just announced they will not be releasing any players for internationals if they are in red list country's.

A sensible decision I think. Better for the entire league to do it together than individual clubs.
Fingers crossed that Fifa don't start banning players for club games and retaliate. Obviously they have already made their rules clear but those rules are bonkers in the current situation.

The PL is being greedy in its position just like they condemned the teams who joined the ESL they are prioritizing their league and Earopean competitions over over AFCON and the other tournaments will be taking place.

Couldn’t agree more. You can’t catch it in a stadium with 19,999 and you can’t catch it before 10pm in a pub or if you are sat down in a restaurant. These bloody red countries need to sort their colour coordination out.

LiverChief, I couldn’t care less for international football. Clubs pay the wages, and I’ve always felt that he who pays the piper calls the tune.
