While we wait for city to drop points
We'll just continue to focus on ourselves and win it all
The rest is beyond our control
And I'm holding out that we'll be the first side to have a quadruple
This is how gd this squad is.

Spot on, OP. I will continue to dream until I can dream no more.

Whilst I’d be miffed about not winning the league after losing less games than City (if that’s how it ends up based n the current position) I’d be pretty happy with another cup trophy and even happier with another 2.

We have some tough games ahead and need to focus on ourselves that is so true. I would be more than happy to bag FA cup and champs league and miss out on the league. Always next year for that we will be the team to beat next season and maybe City will get less favourable refereeing decisions. For now I just want to thump 5 past Everton Sunday!

I am not usually one for predictions, but for some reason I just have a feeling City have a draw in there somewhere. I will be gutted if we lose out by a single point again. However, whoever wins should be applauded for the standards set again this year. Just disappointing if those silly 2 goal leads we lost come back to haunt us.

The PTSD from 18/ 19 is starting to surface! That run-in was torture and ended in disappointment. The same could happen again, unfortunately.

Positives - we are better than the 18/ 19, we have loads in the tank as the squad has been managed well, City are not as good as they were that season (Kompany, Silva, Aguero), City have CL distraction with the titanic tie with Real and of course, we are always an annoyance in City's heads. The better we play, the more win, the bigger and scarier we will seem to City.

Negatives - we really should have beaten them in one of our PL head to heads. That first half performance at Anfield was disappointing. That would be the only real regret (freak results like Leicester away can happen) this season.

When looking at their run-in I always felt that Palace, West Ham and Wolves were the only sides of taking points off them. Palace delivered. The fear is that West Ham will now have the distraction of the Europa League. Therefore, it may just come down to Wolves!

Hold tight!

As i’ve said before, title races always see points dropped during the run in, most often out of nowhere from teams with little to play for. I never seriously thought Brighton would take anything off City, but the likes of Wolves, West Ham, Leeds and Villa just might. I actually don’t think they’re a side good enough to go on a 7 game winning run at this stage, the only consistent run of results they got this season was propped up by omicron and crazy referee decisions.

We will win!

the everton game v city could have massive consequences come the end of this season if efc go down by 1 point and city win league by one point there will be uproar considering city should of had 6 point deduction when they beat us under Brendan! conspiracy theories will be kicking around. If I was efc and they went down i would be suing the var ref for city game he must of had a lovely holiday all expense's paid for by a person wearing a funny head scarf on his head with a snake belt around it? Just a thought.

If Leeds were in more peril that may be the case but they are well clear of Burnley now . Even with 6 changes City will win and have 70 % possession.
