Tomorrow is massive. A general malaise - path!

ManCity sold 2.players who would walk in to our starting 11 over the summer and they are flying.

Excuses are not allowed!

Well seeing as salah has been terrible so far, how about replacing him so he can realise he isn’t untouchable?

At this very moment in time, if we were playing Fantasy Football, we would have a front 3 of Diaz, Jesus and Sterling.

We got enough players in the squad walking around this season already. We don’t need another two ?.

Sterling! Has anyone actually watched Chelsea play this season?

Zinchenko as a midfielder (which he plays for his National side) would’ve been the perfect midfielder for us, so I’d say 3 from City.

Not sure if it’s ever been mentioned on here but any insight on how Klopp chooses which players do the pressers with him?

Was Matip today. Is it just a simple case of players taking it in turns or something else? Always wondered.

The sooner people realise we are not City the better.

So let’s compare them this season then in BPL and and remember Liverpool have been atrocious.

Jesus compared to Firmino
Both have 3 goals and 3 assists and Firmino has played 1 less game.

Sterling compared to Diaz
Both have 3 goals. Sterling has 1 assist played the same games

Hardly record breaking is it. I’ll give you Zinchenko he probs could of been utilised here very well.

Spot on, Rigsby. People seem to think cos we are competing with City hence, we are at the same level as them as should be spending what they spend on players and all that. That is wishful thinking.

As an Arsenal fan told a City fan in a podcast who tried to make it look like we spend the same way thy have been doing trying to draw some false equivalence, "City isn't competing with Liverpool. Liverpool is competing with City". People (like the OP) would be wise to know the difference instead of drawing false equivalences/ comparisons that literally do not exist in reality, IMO.

{Ed025's Note - get over yourself oli and stop bitching over Man City. Your like them dick heads who key a neighbour’s car because he can afford a nice new one and you have to make do with what you have. Grow up and be grateful for what you have..

Totally agree 025. We’re among the biggest spenders in the league and that should be enough of an advantage. After that, it comes down to ambition, hard work and desire ON THE PITCH . If spending money meant guaranteed success then City should hump us every time we play them. And Everton should be playing Champions League footy tonight ?.

{Ed025's Note - spot on IDOG. It’s about coaching and not just buying for the sake of it (see jack grealish). There is also immense satisfaction when you can turn a run of the mill player into a guy who looks comfortable even in the CL mate (see Robbo)..
