Could we all make a concerted effort to bring back some of the old classic rumours please. I miss the posts where people know someone who works in John Lennon Airport and there is a chartered flight coming in from Barcelona etc etc. I also miss not being linked with Simao anymore. He is definitely one of my favourite rumours.

I have it on good authority that the glawdys st tea lady is about to put our pen to paper at Anfield. What she doesn't know about a brew isn't worth knowing.
Also, I hear the'this is Anfield' sign is nailed on.

My uncle's sister's hairdresser says she was giving a quick trim to the wife of a Melwood groundsman's wife the other day and she had mentioned how he had spotted Ken Aguero in the local newsagents.

Apparently he's getting on a bit now and might not be signing for the first team so the rumour is that he could be taking on a coaching role with the Under-5s.

I used to work with a guy in the 90's and his wife worked in child care and told me Paul Ince to Liverpool was a done deal 2 weeks before it happened, his kids were booked into the child care centre and sorry Ed025 you had no chance of signing him.

My son's schoolteachers friend's husband saw Colin Pascoe on a ski trip in Austria. It was -25 degrees in the middle of January and he was still wearing shorts. Make of that what you will.

Not one for spreading site rumours but I've just overheard the painter telling the plasterer that we are definitely getting Mbappe. He said he was painting klopps fence and over heard the conversation as klopp had his home office window ajar. I don't really know this painting well but his work is of high quality so maybe it's true. The plasterer however is an Everton supporter and his work was below average at best.

Best I’ve had was about 4 hrs notice of the Diaz signing.

I’ve stopped asking now.
