Hi all. For those quoting about Llorente to say he’ll be a bad fit because he’s a Jack of all trades, master of none. The full quote actually reads: “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one. ” This is a quote by William Shakespeare.

Well that changes everything.

Hmm, sounds a little like Milner.

I’d hate to have another player like him in the squad ?.

I think the main concerns I have are his fitness as he’s had pretty bad injury issues the last couple of seasons which I can’t see getting better at his age.

Who has quoted what you've claimed? And with respect what a ridiculous literary reference! ✌✌.

The "literary brigade" must be staying at home on Sundays, because they're out "in force" here, today. (Yes, I dare you research Shakespeare's thoughts on this too, since you have nothing better to do) . ?.

Love it Stoneage, I didn’t know that.

Ignore the haters, some people just love to try and bring everything down to their level.

I know Milner is old and versatile but I think it was definitely Shakespeare.

His injury record isn't great. Be a big risk in my opinion. The famous Terry silver once said A MAN can't STAND HE can't FIGHT.

You're all aware that the English Shakespeare wrote in and the English written today are miles and miles apart? So telling people they're misquoting his exact words is, shall I say, a bit misguided? But fine, it's not my native language, so the natives are free to do with it as they please.

it's not really misquoting Shakespeare, it's not quoting him correctly with the purpose to change the narrative.

Using only the first half of that sentence has the exact opposite meaning to using the full sentence. So it's not misquoting, it's manipulation. But to be fair, I'd give most people a pass because I doubt anyone knew there was more to that sentence, less knew whose quote it belonged to lol.

My issue is he was injured a fair bit last season, has only ever played in Spain, and is 28. Adapting to a new, more intense league, new culture, new language, etc could prove to be very difficult. I think it represents a big risk, hopefully it works out if it goes ahead.

“You blocks, you stones, you worse than senseless things! …. You cruel men of Anfield. Knew you not Naby” (almost) Julius Caesar, Scene 1.

ArAy, the words might have been spelt differently but his observations and opinions of life still apply today.

4-3-3 or not 4-3-3. That is the question!

Agreed WDW3. But. Was I even quoting Shakespeare (did I say so? ) . I used 3 words ("master of none") from a phrase of over 3 lines, and hey presto, people assumed I was quoting him. Or do we now have to assign a source for every three words (that we use) out of a phrase, from over 500 years ago, in our daily communications?

(Let's end this here, people, including me and you, are bored with this meaningless stuff going on for no reason) ?.
