Not to sound too reactionary but if we’re challenging for titles etc, we need a striker who’s going to score goals. I absolutely love Nunez, he’s chaotic and causes panic in opposition defences with his movement and unpredictability but he can’t be relied on to her 20-30 goals a season. I would go out in January and sign someone like Ivan Toney who will get you goals and use Nunez on the left with Diaz. He can also still be used in rotation with Toney as can Gakpo.

Nunez won’t sit on the bench. We will need of offload him to sign a striker. This system demands someone like Berbatov upfront. Absolutely magical first touch and world class finishing. Nunez has neither of it.

The only chaos Nunez has been causing Lately is in linesmen’s rotator cuffs.

AIRy92. I am not sure if Berbatov would press today but football has evolved. 15 years ago nobody used to press. What you can’t take out from Berbatov is his magnificent first touch and lethal finishing.
As @JK said, Nunez will have more yellow cards than goals for this season.
