Hey Eds,
Saw on another rumours page, that Liverpool are now focussing on another midfield target instead of day Thuram - is that Andre, or are the rumours of him going down the list and another player taking precedent?
Much appreciated!
{Ed002's Note - I am not sure that Liverpool have given up on Thuram but his agent is trying to persuade two other clubs to declare an interest. Certainly Liverpool have done that. They do have other options and Andre Trindade is certainly one, but with what Fluminense have said they may well be looking to others they have scouted. They could look to a real wildcard option in Ezequiel Fernandez who Liverpool had watched by an ex-PL player who is now a very high-end scout. Would be an option to Andre Trindade.}

Surely Thuram is no longer what we need, especially after having signed Gravenberch? A specialist DM is really the only midfielder we should be trying to bring in.

Hi Ed002,
What are your thoughts on Ezequiel Fernandez? Very hard to judge on YouTube? Is he comparable to Andre?
Thank you for your time.
{Ed002's Note - I am not really the one to ask about comparing players and I typically don't have thoughts about young men. Regardless, he is well with Benfica and Milan taking note.}

Appreciate the response Ed002.

Nice one, Ed. Always time for a wildcard.

What evidence you got of that then Keeper of Bees?

You’d expect Berbatov to press? He wouldn’t fit into this system at all - clearly your new fancy of this month after watching YouTube!

I see nothing in constructive debate in that post however, a lot of it is aimed at questioning commitment - how is that constructive? There’s nothing being stated about what could be done to be improved?!
Gomez has not had a great few seasons, stemming from injuries and loss of form, which was compounded by our general form being middle of the road. Whether he stays or not, hopefully he plays himself back into where he knows he needs to be, there’s no need to question that he’s not wanting to throw himself into tackles as that is what he has done and it has caught him out?!
There’s also no need to bring salary into it either, what kind of metric is that useful in supposed constructive debate? I see a lot of fair reaches but this is becoming a bit tedious.
Hopefully the conversion will actually move into a constructive place rather than tedious remarks and throw away comments/ low brow analysis.

That’s a pretty low sighted view of the original posters comment there MK - it is related to football and pretty embarrassing to say that.
