I get that the club spent big in the summer, and our powder is dry for the winter window, but do you believe we are still a couple of players away from being champions league challenging and at a point where we can properly push city for the title?
I think so, and if I had a choice my options for the summer would be Olise for the right forward role with Salah likely to go to KSA and Diomande from Sporting as a CB replacement for Matip (Better than Inacio in my opinion)

Not a chance we’re winning the league. I agree with Shughes we’re a couple of players away. I’m not speculating on those due to come back as it appears to be never ending with us, but we’ve laboured some wins this football year.

All the big teams have laboured some wins this season. Arsenal and Man City are hardly blowing teams away. I don't see why we can't win the league when we are currently top and more than half the season has gone.

We have a better squad than what Leicester had when they won the league. The other challengers are blowing hot and cold, yeah city can put a run together but as long as we continue to do what we are doing. We should be fine.

As for competing against a fit and firing City or a certain Madrid side. Anyone can come out out on top in those games.
