So the search begins and we've had a French, Spanish and German manager so time for an Italian or Dutchman?

I think we can rule out Postecoglou and Ancelotti so it's one of the below

De Zerbi
Emery
Nagelsmann
Frank
Farioli
Terzic
Slot
Alonso

Alonso is favourite but if he doesn't want it then it's Slot for me

or Ted Lasso.

Rubin Amorim might be a wildcard choice.

When you see the list, I think you can rule out a few more.

I don't see Emery at Liverpool. Fantastic manager but style is not quite the right fit.

Farioli, Terzic seem very unlikely to me.

Slot is unknown to me but I trust Ed002.

Honestly, you look at the list and it really is hard to look past Alonso.

Alonso all day long.

Us imagining Alonso coming in reminds me of the time when Bellingham was also coming because he wanted us 100%.

Let’s just not count our chickens just yet.

From that list, it's Alonso for me. He fits what the club is about on a cultural and depper level cos he played here and won here. He was also part of the greatest comeback in a CL final and understands the ramifications of that night on the fan base and the club till this day. None of those other options understand any of this, unfortunately for them.

I like Emery and always have BUT not sure he is the right fit. The others on the list, I do not rate at all to come in and do the job competently cos being LFC manager is not just about being competent. It is about understanding the culture of the club at a grassroot level, something Klopp had to learn at a granular level before he could succeed. Just my opinion.
