Hi ed001 last night i asked if you'd be able to provide a list of center backs that A. You like and B. The club might have on a list of potential konate replacements. We've each mentioned a few players that don't seem to be near the clubs thoughts and the club seems to have guehi at no.1 for the position but who might be the next 5 or 6 in line if the deal proves too difficult or expensive?
{Ed001's Note - the only others I know of are Zeze and Ait Boudlal. I am sure there are other options, I just don't know who they are.}

Apart from Guehi, all other centre backs whose names have come up have been fairly young and would not be ready for first team football. But all of them, Ait Boudal, Hato, Zeze and Leoni all might be worth keeping an eye on. Seems to be more than average amount of decent young defenders around atm.

Is it only me who thinks that, apart from being half decent in the air, Konate is sh? te with the ball at his feet, and wouldn’t be that great of a miss?
