Hi Ed01 or for any fellow reds if use could please folks?

Do any of use know anyone who can can get tickets legitimately for the match other than obviously through the club it self and for a reasonable price?

I have a friend who always comes home as he works abroad and struggles to get tickets when he is back. If he does get them too, they are usually extortionate prices, for example this weekend he paid £400 off a page for a Arsenal ticket.

I understand some may have a laugh an so on about the price, but just trying to find something somewhat more reasonable than near 5 x face value for a friend

I would be willing to help out but i don't really know of anyone reliable myself nor do my other mates, especially considering he is home every now and then.

I understand it may be a big ask and you Ed01 might not be able to say but i would appreciate any help at all, even from some users if use can help. its no bother if not, i just thought it may be worth an ask on here.

Thanks all.

{Ed001's Note - not anyone who would get tickets for others. As you say they are like gold dust and they already have too many people asking for tickets, sorry.}

I'm in this boat. In my younger days I went all over Europe with the reds. Since I moved south I relied on family getting tickets for me. But that stopped. I paid £2000 for 4 tickets against Spurs 2024 game. Ended up in the very last row of the new stand.

In 1970s I was paying 45p for the main Kop. 25p for the boys pen.

I think the only way to stand a chance of reasonable priced tickets is to join a supporters club and try that way. Other option is hospitality, which is expensive but at least you're getting extra stuff, rather than just being gouged by tout websites.

Iv been going to Liverpool matches since my dad was taking me as a kid . but the way the club sorts the tickets out nowadays is terrible . iv gradually stopped going, last year I went 7 home games n a few away ( my least game a season ever ) . . n this year it will be even less . the club is losing out on generations of fans because they can't get tickets.

Top 6 games £500-600
Mid table games £350
Lower table games £250-300
All of the above are the bare minimum now I would say £2k for 4 tickets at Tottenham is bang on the money.

I have 2 tickets (1 adult and 1 junior) for the Leeds game 30th December. Not the best seats, 2nd from back row in upper Main Stand. Cost me £57 in the members ballot.
As it stands I may not be able to go so would happily pass them on to someone on here for face value.
Not 100% I can't make it yet but if anyone is interested please shout closer to the time and I'll let you know either way.

It used to be your best chance was going to the ticket booths at the ground on the day, but if you aren't local it's obviously very risky.

Plenty to do in the City if you don't have any luck there.

Ed's please pass my info onto redchester as I'd love to buy the tickets for the Leeds game if he is unable to make it. Nice one.

{Ed033's Note - i don't have RedChester's email. Both of you would have to reply to this thread with your emails.

Throw my hat in the ring. Never took my lad to see Liverpool (I live over in Leeds) . Would happily pay £200 for the pair and a reach around.

Plus it will be 3 days after my birthday so Mrs can’t say no.

Thank you Ed01 for the response,

I had seen this the other day but been chaotic with work at the minute, but nevertheless appreciate it anyhow.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I couldn't help mate.}
