KK was my first proper Liverpool hero with magical performances in the 74 Cup Final and Rome 77, of course. And who could forget the bike crash on Superstars? Proper hard Northerner, despite the hair. RIP SuperKev.

Two-time European Player of the Year... Also, his honesty throughout his life as a manager, as to his capabilities and lack of ability at times, was refreshing and heartwarming. RIP Kev and thanks for being you.

As a young service engineer, I was called out to a call in North Wales, which was my patch, to repair a washing machine. Lovely white large bungalow. I knocked on the door and a nice lady with blonde hair opened it and invited me into the kitchen.
Well, blow me down, sitting at the table was Kevin. As a Liverpool fan, I was gob smacked, unable to speak. He even made me a cuppa tea. What a great couple. I remember it to this day. So sad. ynwa.
