So, according to Fabrice Hawkins, who is considered quite reliable when it comes to French players, Liverpool are in talks with PSG to sign Ibrahim Mbaye. I don't know much about him. However, I do seem to remember someone on here (I can't recall who) saying the player is good, but the parents or his entourage are a real pain to deal with.
Anyone know anything about Mbaye?? Highlights suggest he has a bit of speed about him, but, then again, highlights of Charlie Adam convinced me he was a great signing. And, how wrong was I??

I can understand why we are pursuing him, but in the little he played in the WC, he looked very raw. We can't just rely on two 18 year olds to be our 2nd and 3rd choice wingers in the next season.
It's unfair to them. We should have gone for a low cost stop gap like Ferran Torres, or Bowen (before he signed his contract). Let's hope it turns out well.
