I think no 33 is captain material.
I don't want to trigger the page with what I think of dom as captain material.
I don't see why he can't at least next season become vice season is he signs permanently.

I don't think the vice captain is so important as a title, but if stays I don't see why he would not work his way into the leadership group. He captained Barca to La Liga a few years ago if my memory serves me well.
Even more impressive than his performances is that he seems to have got the Ron Funk seal of approval.

Tobbi, Doms done things towards the fans that were petulant and disrespectful. When backs are against the walls, real characters are shown. I'm not convinced on dom atall as a captain.

So Ron, I take it that you despise Mo Salah after his outbursts last season whilst our backs were against the wall?
He disrespected the club, the fans, his manager, the coaches and the whole squad with what he did. At a time when we should've all been pulling together he caused divisions.
Dom just shrugged when he was getting booed at by the fans. That's a natural, spur of the moment reaction and one that he apologised for.
I'd say when backs are against the wall the leaders stand up to be counted on the pitch and Dom did that last season.

To be a Liverpool captain you don't try and argue with paying fans anywhere. I've seen him "captain" Hungary and throw his arms up about his fellow players.
No, I don't want another possible Bruno fernandez type captaining this club.
I want someone like araujo captaining it.
Dom can put in great shifts and lead that way but no I will never accept petulance.
It's time he and grav were fighting for their spots with two top central midfielders to come into the club. Some very sis character's in that dressing room that need real competition.

He's a wrong 'Un for me.
Wouldn't be anywhere near the captaincy in any side I'd manage.
